Solid takeaway - Edit
Good food but it didn’t blow my mind. Everything was tasty but nothing that I would go out of my way for. It was a little disappointing that everything was served in disposable containers even when eating in. Would recommend for a quick or grab-and-go lunch.

Vegan ramen!!! - Edit
I thought I was going to have to say goodbye to ramen when I went vegan but I WAS WRONG! I went to Red White last night for the first time and got the Masterpiece ramen (creamy sesame) and a toasted miso avocado. Both were flavorful and complex, and the meal was incredibly satisfying. My date, an omnivore, got the Dragon Breath ramen with cheese and crispy onion and had only good things to say about it.

Solid Overall - Edit
Overall the meal itself was decent. I got the Dragon Breath which really wasn’t spicy if you’re use to any heat. The menu is very limited to about 6 items, but even so was a little confusing for me to understand at first, but the cashier was friendly and helpful. I wish the tofu and faux meat inside the soup was larger instead of being shredded. It was mostly noodles and veggies because of that but the broth was yummy. I’d say worth a visit if you like ramen!

Amazing ramen! - Edit
Had dinner here for the first time today, even though it's hot as h$ll outside- we wanted to try Red White Budda. It was delicious. We got the Dragon breath and Sapporo Budda. The dragons has such rich flavor but also amazing heat and spice. The miso was rich unami. The noodles were chewing and fresh. We all loved it so much. Will be taking home the leftover broth to stretch it out for one last lunch tomorrow! Will be back soon

Unexciting and still frozen - Edit
Given the many good ratings this place has, I was expecting more. I ordered their Miso ramen on Uber Eats and found that my food arrived cold and stale. The broccoli extra that I paid over $2 for was actually just a condiment cup filled with STILL FROZEN broccoli. So somebody clearly did not care too much about delivering quality food. The broth was good, but a bit too salty. I also felt like there were way too many noodles and not enough broth and other toppings. Overall, I was not impressed and would not necessarily repeat the experience. Perhaps in person it really is as good as the reviews seem to indicate, but what was delivered to me was definitely not worth it.

Reasonably Priced Ramen - Edit
The restaurant mainly sells ramen. I had the ramen that had the miso soup flavor and tasted the truffle flavor one. Both of which were delicious.

Reinvented itself as vegan friendly ramen - Edit
Didn't care for this place when it first opened but they did a total 180 and are doing vegan/veg friendly ramen now. This is an amazing turn of events for Boston vegans who like ramen but weren't especially thrilled getting the 1 vegan option at 1 restaurant like we had before. It's delicious and we love it.

Fantastic noodles - Edit
Ate indoors. Comfortable and fast. Counter service. Very Casual. Perfect on a cold night. Ate the masterpiece, dragon breath and zen ramen. All fantastic. Masterpiece was my favorite. Noodles were slurp-worthy and broths were flavorful. Staff was helpful and kind. Thankful for delicious vegan ramen.

Super convenient--they are very fast, good portion, reasonable price. Pretty limited menu (mostly the ramen a variety of flavors and a rice dish) but everything is tasty. Friendly staff too.

Amazing environment and even better food! - Edit
One of my favorite little nooks an Newbury St! I bring non vegans here all the time when I’m going out to grab dinner with friends and they are always blown away by the fact that there is no meat yet everything still tastes so good.
Read moreI’ve tried every single type of bowl and I love them all! (Although my personal favorite it the Dragons Breath). If you are craving noodles this place is an absolute MUST.
The staff is also extremely kind and always positive! I’ve gotten to talk to the head chef about a couple of times and he is always so excited that there are other vegans in the city, he’s such a sweet man! By buying dinner here you are supporting a much deserving small business owner and simultaneously treating yourself to the best ramen of your life.
A win-win if I do say so myself!
Pros: Diverse flavor options, Everything is good, Wonderful/kind staff
