No Vegan Menu during Covid - Edit
Rather a challenging start to this visit sadly. They have removed the vegan menu due to covid but the lady was helpful in suggesting what I could order off their main menu - jacket spud with oil or beans, sausage sandwich or salad sandwich and there were packets of Kettle crisps too. I ordered a sausage and salad sandwich and a pot of tea with soya milk. When the tea arrived, the milk was too white and I had to check whether it was soya - unfortunately I had been served cow’s milk. They were very apologetic and changed it straight away. I then took the liberty of checking that the sausages were in fact vegan, they were (Linda McCartney). My sandwich was served with a side salad and crisps but I gave the crisps to my husband as I felt too embarrassed to ask if they were vegan.
