A hidden gem where not many quality options are available. - Edit
A completely unexpected find right when I had given up hope for a decent vegan meal to match the wonderful wine that the region has to offer. A very welcoming and warm atmosphere along with an outdoor terrace covered in stones and grape vines make this small village wine bar a great find! Like in all wine bars, wine is the main attraction; but even within a small menu, they managed to fit in a delicious vegan Flammkuchen, and the staff was happy to create a vegan appetizer variation substituting dairy and meat with fresh fruit, vegetables, and olives. The wine was exceptional (we took a case home with us), and the quality of products and plating shows that the people working there really care for what they do and for their guests. Of course, vegetarians have a lot more options, including a homemade cheese that excited my companion. I highly recommend this establishment for vegan wine lovers who wish to add food to their wine tasting experience in the region while not feeling like an afterthought!
