Amazing - Edit
The service was a little slow but the taste of the food made up for it entirely. I haven't had a meal that good in such a long time.

Hole in the Wall with Super Friendly Owners - Edit
I now know how much I've been missing Jamaican-style vegan food in my life. Most of their fake meats are soy-based, but the fact that food is made to order and the use of strong spices make the dish. And yes, since everything is made to order, your food may take a little while, but it's so worth it! I had a really nice conversation with one of the owners about our experiences with vegan food and health while waiting.
Read moreFor my first visit, I ordered the goat curry (owner recommended--I now see why) and everything from the texture of the "goat" to the curry itself to the plaintains served alongside was fantastic! The only thing I might ask about next time is perhaps having the dish with a little less salt.
Experience was fantastic regardless and owners are super engaging with customers. They clearly care about their culinary craft.
Pros: Friendly owners, delicious spices, many options
Cons: Windows/door need more insulation from wind

Wow! What a find. - Edit
Their food is so tasty! . The fish slider was so good that when I got home I wished I had gotten some for next day's lunch. Until I tasted the goat stew over rice & beans, with plantains and veggies which was was so goodI'm taking that with me tomorrow instead. The sides were such a welcome change from the standard vegan faire: steamed okra was crunchy green and tasty with some carrot strips and onion. And the callaloo was a medley of down home tastes. Good sized portions that are piquant but not too hot. The owner was so friendly and nice, I can't wait to come back and try more.

Hooray! - Edit
So glad there's a vegan spot nearby! I placed a takeout order for curry 'goat', jerk 'chicken' and got a passion fruit cake slice and mango cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The 'meats' were spiced really well, very flavorful. The goat was my fave.
Read moreWould change one thing: the proportions of rice to the meat- the curry goat had 6 little pieces and much more rice. The chicken came w two 'wings'. There was plenty of rice to share, but not enough of the meat. I point this out as some folks have written there's enough for sharing (maybe it's different when you dine in).
Worth a visit and repeat patronage. Looking forward to trying more menu items!
Pros: ALL vegan, no playing w menu items, SO flavorful
Cons: Would've liked a little more meat, less rice

Nice surprise - Edit
Hard to find, small Vegan cafe. Door was locked (?) due to strong winds blowing the door open, so I had to knock to get in. Five tables. Very friendly host/waitress/server. Explained the menu. Have suggestions. I started with the sweet and hot cauliflower. It was so very good. I will definitely come back for the jerk cauliflower. Followed that up with the curry tofu entree which comes with rice, beans, salad and plantain. Also very good. A few more interesting items on the menu that I will go back and try after this successful visit. One negative, or positive depending on how you look at it, they make everything to order. So i waited 20-40 minutes for all of my order. Fresh ... yes ... but that was a long wait.

Delicious - Edit
The food was so delicious and very well prepared. It was very tasty especially the jerk chicken. I can’t believe it was 100 percent plant based. My hat is off to the chef. The dessert choices are amazing.

Amazing, Authentic, Vegan! - Edit
I was blown away to come back home from the west coast to learn there is an 100% vegan Caribbean restaurant nearby. As a Caribbean vegan I usually have to travel to queens or Brooklyn to purchase a vegan Caribbean meal. As a lifelong Caribbean and a 20 year Vegan I can tell you this place is amazing. Try the jerky chicken, curry goat, or Rasta pasta. Also, try the Ackee, Callalloo, and Cauliflower (both sweet meat and barbecue were amazing)

FINALLY a great vegan restaurant in Nassau - Edit
I've been waiting years for someone to open up a local vegan restaurant and this was definitely worth the wait. The food was amazing and the owners are SO nice. I had the rasta pasta and the jerk cauliflower which were both delicious. They also have some juices that were really good. I will definitely be coming back to try everything else on the menu. I highly recommend eating here. While I'm always happy to support vegan businesses, I can honestly say that this one is worth the 5 star review.
Read moreSide note: everything is made to order, which is great because everything is super fresh, but just make sure you come here when you're not in a rush.
Pros: All vegan, Large portions, Friendly Staff
Cons: Food takes a while, but it's very fresh (worth it)
