One of the best restaurants in nanaimo

Our go to restaurant in Nanaimo. Food and service are both great. A great variety of gluten free vegan muffins to choose from. Also love the smoothies although they do come in recyclable plastic instead of reusable mugs even if you eat in. Lots of choice and good quality fresh food.

Yum!

I just had their berry cheesecake (vegan) and a chai latte with almond milk, but both were delicious and the service was great! Not cheap, but in the range I expect for this kind of place. I'll definitely be back to try more things!

Great selections for fresh and healthy options

Really amazing food and service. We've had the falafel wrap, veggie wrap, and thai grain bowl -- all fantastic tasting. The thai bowl did upset both our stomachs, possibly due to fat content of the dressing (we since discovered an intolerance going very low fat... don't know if that was it, but possibly, so just noting in case fat is a concern for others following such diets). We also had the kale salad, which is pre-made and was not good (very bland and obviously refrigerated for the day). It's expensive, but the service and food mostly outstanding and a menu full of vegan options so I do recommend it.

Pros: Extensive menu, Fantastic and friendly service, Mostly great recipes

Cons: Limited hours, Salad pre-made

Great Food

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Nanaimo. My favorites are either the Sun Burger or the Thai Grain Bowl. It is great to have a vegan restaurant around the shopping on the North side of Nanaimo. This is a must visit.

Orange Truffle To DIE FOR

Discovered Rawmbas at Bite of Nanaimo several owners and sampled their Orange Truffles and hubby and I fell in LOVE. I live in Duncan but whenever I get the chance I drop into Rambas and buy a tub or two. Seriously, they are bloody amazing and very guilt free. Other then the coffee, its the only thing I've tried because I'm so obsessed with them!
There is also a guy who works there (owner maybe?) who is hilarious and so nice!!!
Average (which is high) for quality products like such.

Pros: delicious, nice staff, healthy!

Great vegan food

Great to hear they are totally vegan now!I have sent many non-vegan friends to Rawmbas and they were surprised how good raw / vegan food can be.

Great food,mediocre service.

I tried this new place and say welcome to Nanaimo. The food is excellent,I recommend the pizza. However they must learn to tidy up.There where napkins and bits of flotsam and jetsam on the floor.I also thought I was more enthusiastic then the staff regarding the menu.I will definitely return simply because the food is so good.

Pros: Raw options, Vegan, Quality

Cons: sweep the floor, staff, service
