Their vegan options are five star in my book! - Edit
Raterman’s has completely vegan menus and lots of choices so ordering is easy. One of my all-time favorite sandwiches ever is their vegan “figgy piggy “ which is a marinated Tempeh sandwich using high quality, local Tempeh, fig preserves, vegan Feta, Red Wine Vinegar Pickled Red Onions, and Cilantro Microgreens! Don’t let the name turn you off. My understanding is that it’s a playoff of their meat sandwich.
Read moreAnd, while you’re there, pick up a loaf of bread as it is incredible! If you like a doughy pizza, you will also enjoy their pizza. Everything there is good! Do allow plenty of time or order in advance as the food takes a while to get prepared. Also, know that there are only a couple of tables, but they have an agreement with the brewery on the other side of the entryway, so it’s fine to take your food over there and enjoy it.

One of my favorite artisan bakery has open their doors serving vegan food too. The result is amazing. Take a detour to this tiny town, you won’t regret it.

Delicious vegan options in Dexter - Edit
Small bistro sharing the building with Erratic Ale.Almost everything on the traditional menu has a vegan counterpart. Vegan BLT was salty yet fresh and delicious, the tortilla chips on the side very tasty with hint of lime. Vegan veggie pizza was cheesy and filling with very fresh vegetables.The gentleman who owns this place is a baker so the sourdough pizza crusts and sandwich breads are outstanding. Very grateful to have all these vegan treats right in downtown Dexter.
