Delicious Jamaican vegan breakfast

We both got the breakfast, I had an iced blue mountain coffee and my partner had a juice. Really tasty food served quickly and for decent prices. Right on the waters edge so a beautiful location too.

Pros: Taste , Price , Location

Cons: Cash only (if I had to be picky)

Awesome Atmosphere

We watched the sunset over 7 mile beach while having the jerk sandwich, veggie platter and a smoothie. One of the best experiences we had while visiting Jamaica!! The coolest spot too. Check them out.

Pros: Beach , Sunsets , Outdoor seating

Nice

We got the veggie platter and jerk sandwich. The sandwich was flavoursome but small and the plate was massive but at times lacked flavour. All in all the location is amazing, the vibe is exactly what you want and the Cory is super friendly.

Pros: Great location, All vegan

Cons: Small sandwich

Yum!

So I went after sunset and they were out of most things for the day so I just told them to give me what they had left. I got an awesome spicy sandwich and a plate with a bunch of traditional Jamaican food on it. Great location and good vibes.

Pros: Great location on the beach

Vegan Life Saver

Rasta Ade Cafe fully vegan, with fresh cut coconut water with or without your meal. Lovely location on 7 Mile Beach. Friendly owner, staff. Elite tree Ackee and green Callaloo outstandingly delicious by chef to chef style. Waiters has to realize that when customers make suggestions about prepared vegan food, - it is not a complaint. "Go somewhere else if you don't like it" - is a silly reply." Customers can be helpful , about the salt content or variety of a same dish on the menu. Freshly extracted fruit or veggie juices looked great and herbal teas offered Jamaican style.
The portions are perfect and the salads outstanding. Thank you for Vegan chow !
Also, a great Jamaican painter did the walls and artistically painted the eating tables.

Pros: Freshly cut coconut water with or without a meal, Beautiful location & Vegan food., A vegan lifesaver.when not eating from the market

Cons: extracted fruit & veggie drinks, teas expensive, Opening hours in the morning vary

This place is 🔥 I loved the veggie platter. So filling and clearly made with love and intention. Michael was super friendly and made the experience even better. We have a few more days in Negril and will definitely be back!

Nice beach restaurant

Having a nice tasty breakfast on the beach was amazing. Lemonade tasted great. Expensive in comparison to other ital restaurants on the island.

You can't eat dinner here

They're opened until late, but they run out of food before dinner time. You'll be lucky to get soup or a jerk coleslaw sandwich if you get there after 3pm.

Pros: All-vegan, laid-back

Cons: Food ready at 9-10am, sold until they run out 2pm, Small menu

Dinner at the beach!

A beautiful walk along 7 mile beach took us to this lovely restaurant for two days in a row. We enjoyed the food, portions and seasoning we had to go back. First night we had the full plate which was a mix up of rice and peas, ital stew, callaloo, ackee, rasta pasta, fried bammy, coleslaw and fried dumplings.
The breakfast was just as good with many options including fried plantan, ackee stirfry

Pros: Flavours of the food, Perfect views, inviting atmosphere , Portion size

Casual Vegan Fare

It's actually called Rasta Lemonade. Limited menu options and they work on island time, but the wait is worth it. From Rasta Pasta to Breakfast Platter to Salad, the food is delicious and plant based.

Cons: Be prepared to wait

The Best!

In my opinion, this vegan restaurant has the best food with the most variety. Directly on the beach with a nice little bar next door.

Great Ital food

Food was really good. They even made us bread fruit upon request. We liked it all. Typical Rasta Ital staff. Pretty chill. The only thing that annoyed us was that they don’t accept card and the exchange rate on the USD was pretty intense, so the cost of the meal was pretty high. My partner and I shared a large veggie plate and two lemonades and a side of bread fruit and ended up paying $27 total. 🤯

Pros: Food was great, Big portions

Cons: Expensive, Exchange rate issues

Delicious and nutritious

Loved this place! Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here during our entire stay in Negril! Huge portions and yummy flavours - particularly liked the Rasta pasta and veggie chunks. Authentic, fresh Ital food and tasty home made lemonade that you have to try! Set right on the beach and particularly lovely in the evening with the fairy lights on. All of the menu is amazingly tasty and we enjoyed spending time talking to the owners (the coolest guys in town) Mikey and the Colonel! Felt like we were hanging out with friends when we were here, thanks guys for everything!

Pros: Huge portions, Authentic Ital, Beach front location

Cons: None!

Yummy Vegan on 7-mile Beach

Near the center of 7 mile Beach is the friendly and tasty Rasta Ade Vegan food stand. A little pricier than its the in-town competitors - but great spot and your bare feet never leave the soft white sands.

Updated from previous review on 2018-01-15

Pros: :Location, Yummy, Generous Portions

Cons: a little pricier, limited menu, limited seating (but the sand is inviting too!)

Great Vegan Food On The Beach

We’ve vacationed in Negril for years but hadn’t been in the last few years. When looking for new vegan options we were stoked to see Rasta Ade on the list. Continently located on the beach and just a quick walk from most resorts. The food was great, tons of full flavors and food came quickly (for Jamaica).
My husband and I both got veggie platters and enjoyed all of it. My parents both got salads and praised those.

Pros: Great views, Flavorful food, Great price

Cons: No parking

PAY ATTENTION to your bill TOTAL & exchange rate - Good food beyond this

Food is great. Cash only - try to use Jamaican currency.

They may try to cheat you on the exchange rate. Ask ask ask for your BILL TOTAL AFTER YOU ORDER TO CONFIRM THE AMOUNT. When we were there, the conversion was $1USD to $110 Jamaican dollars. They have the Jamaican dollar MUCH higher resulting in our meal costing nearly double. $30+ for a meal is a bit much.

Food is great and the spot is right on the beach between Grand pineapple resort and Woodstock shack. It is about a 12-minute walk from Margaritaville. We would have eaten there more if the currency exchange were better.

You will not be disappointed in the food and juices – I promise.

Pros: Great vegan menu, Right on beach, Juices galore

Cons: Watch your check & bill total for accurancy, Exchange rate is not budget friendly, Pricey
