Situated opposite Clover Centre, this very large restaurant serves the typical vegetarian South Indian, North Indian, and Indo-Chinese food. Extensive menu. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-11:00pm.
I have been going here every Sunday ever since I was 16 years old for breakfast. I love love love everything on their menu! The cheese dosa is a must and the fresh pineapple juice as well.
I’ve eaten here numerous times over many years. It’s your standard good quality pure veg restaurant that serves a mixed menu. Included south and North Indian, Chinese as well as chaat items. The food itself is pretty good, no complaints. The standard and quality of the food has remained stable over the years. Service however has really declined in recent times. Service is fairly quick however. There’s a non a/c outer section and an a/c area where prices are steeper but worth paying during the hot summer.
Don’t expect servers to know vegan items. It’s easy to eat vegan here if you know your Indian dishes. Vegan items are not marked.
Ramkrishna is yet another generic South Indian restaurant where people now go for Chinese and North Indian cuisine. Avoid both like a plague. Chinese is your typical Indianized greasy fare laden with MSG. South Indian dishes are predictable and uninspiring. Has a separate A/C section with slightly higher prices. It is a humongous place with a humongous menu!
