i liked the miso vegan ramen! i wish there were more toppings though besides the fake meat- the fake chicken that topped my ramen wasn’t really my favorite texture. more veggies!! 🍜 we enjoyed our experience here & it satisfied our need for a warm meal on a rainy night. we also loved trying the different & interesting soda flavors like blueberry 🫐🫐🫐

It’s a quite big restaurant, was lucky to get a table quite fast on a walk in. Had a vegan ramen, there were about 4 or 4 vegan options for ramen which I found impressive. You also have staters which are vegan and at least one desert. I found the overall experience to be good, but it’s not the best I had.

Went there because it was cold and rainy outside. You can choose between four different vegan Ramen. I had the Tan-Tan Ramen and I liked it! Rich and tasty. Very little vegetables but loads of noodles. I added some Kimchi for the spiciness.

Went there a few weeks after opening and my experience was awful! First off they got me and my friend the wrong orders, I asked for a vegan ramen, they sent one that was nothing like I had ordered and had egg. I complained two times and was told it was the right order, since they have tablets for orders and they stay registered I complained a third time to a different person, who finaly heard me and apologized. They took ages to bring the right ones out (the other people in the table had finished eating by now) and when they came they were incomplete (missing a few items from what was described in the menu), at this point I just ate.
Read moreThe ramen itself wasn't that bad, not great either, the heura protein was tasteless and completely unseasoned. I also ordered vegan gyozas, wich were incredible.
To top it off I ordered a vegan mochi for dessert, it came completely frozen and was served with dairy whipped cream, which is not acceptable when serving a vegan dessert.
Clearly they need to step up their service and teach the peope who are serving about what is vegan and what is not vegan.

Unfortunately my time in Ramen Shifu was outstandingly bad. When we first sat down the waiter told us to wait before ordering in the tablet on the table. We waited 10min until we could finally order because the waitress forgot about us. The vegan fried gyozas were really good! But that's about it...
Read moreI ordered the Yasai Shoyu ramen and it was so bland, from the broth to the toppings! The Heura meat had no flavour, it was straight up cooked from the package without any seasoning.
My gf ordered the Tan Tan ramen, which is supposed to be spicy and come with Heura mince meat. Said mince meat smelled really really bad, like dog food!!! I could smell it across the table! My gf tasted it despite the smell and did not like it at all. We called the waitress over and she told us they couldn't swap it for another dish because we had already eaten... For me trying the food is not the same as eating half the dish! Eventually the owner came over and started talking about the mince meat being vegan and very good since they had no previous complaints and asked us what was wrong. We kindly explained we didn't like the mince meat and the overall seasoning of the ramen and asked to swap it for another dish. The owner said no, took the food into the kitchen and came back with the same ramen bowl, same seasoning and broth, only swapping the mince meat for regular and bland Heura. It was still disgusting because the broth was still the same and neither of us could eat it. So we basically paid for the terrible food and left unsatisfied and hungry. You are better off in any other ramen place in Porto.
Cons: Overrated, Bad customer service, Hard to find parking in the area
