Serves meat, vegan options available. Japanese ramen restaurant with a vegan ramen option: mazesoba. Open Mon-Thu 10:00am-8:00pm, Fri-Sun 10:00am-9:00pm.
used to be a limited "king" (dish) but became permanent in select branches due to popular demand!!
unlike traditional ramen, the mazesoba is a dry ramen-- still with the usual ramen noodles but with lesser, thicker sauce than a broth
once mixed, the sauce has a thick yet smooth texture, which i like but does feel really heavy and is super filling. it tastes uniquely sweet and garlicy which i personally like 😌
while the serving size is for one, i do recommend sharing it since the sauce is really heavy and they don't allow takeout
other than the dish, service was really great and efficient; had no issues with them. the interior itself also felt very authentic and welcoming:> had no issues as well. do note that, while the tables are group together, they're still shared, meaning you may have to sit with other customers. if you're two people, you have to sit facing each other
so happy that i now get to share a new cuisine (ramen) with my non-veg family ❤️
