Really delicious curry - Edit
Many places we tried to eat at were closed early or full for the evening. Raja was open and happy to serve us. They are happy to cater to vegan and checked if other ingredients were ok like onion. Refreshingly good. The naan was amazing!!!!

Owner tried to kiss me - Edit
The food was very tasty. I actually wanted to recommend it to others. I was shocked when I had a talk outside with the waiter or owner - I'm not sure - about the island. He asked me several times if I had a boyfriend. I said yes. He suddenly just grabbed me by the neck and wanted to kiss me. I had to push him away. Watch out! Especially as a woman traveling alone!

Good option | 🌱 Vegan options without a hassle - Edit
🌱 Friendly owner who said there are often vegans and vegetarians eating in. Super fresh made naan 🫓 which he adapted especially to fit vegans.
Read more‼️ Portions not so big, could use bit more flavor and curry could be more creamy but all in all worth a visit. Would give 3.5 stars.

A very bizarre experience - Edit
People have referenced the owner as being funny. He was charismatic but it was too much, he was very over the top when we arrived and then he talked at us continually whilst we were trying to eat. We think he may have been drinking as he was stumbling around, he didn’t seem to be able to keep track of what was going on even though after 10 mins of arriving we were the only people in there, and tables were being left uncleared, plus he then overcharged us by 1000 Yen. We suspected this also happened with a group who left not long after we arrived as one person was going through their bill with him for an extended period.

I’d be wary if I was a solo female traveller going here, I think had I not been with my partner I would’ve felt very uncomfortable, this was due to some of the things the owner said.

Not only will the chef make a dish vegan for you but the people here are so very kind and nice. The food is very flavorful and parking in a lot near by is easy enough.

A great local restaurant. Very accommodating to different diets and will make a lot of the dishes vegan. The lunch menu is great value, the samosas and naan are amazing! Highly recommended

Tough place to rate, but 3.5 stars feels right. - Edit
The food is very tasty; better than most Indian I’ve had anywhere in Japan, but the service is slow (and needed to be reminded of several things we ordered that weren’t delivered) and the portions are small. If you have time, and are okay with smaller sizes, definitely check this place out. They speak English and Japanese and can point out the things on the menu that are vegan.

Very comfy and informal restaurant, the staff is so kind and nice. They ask if you're vegetarian or vegan, so they can adapt the dish for your diet. The menus are convenient for the price! I ate a lot and were so satisfied. You can also choose the level of spiciness (no hot, hot or very hot). I really like spicy food so I choose the hot option. It was very balanced for my tastes. I'd definitely go there again😄

Ended up here after deciding the vegan restaurants open in town for dinner were beyond our budget. The staff were very friendly and spoke great English. Straight away they asked if we were vegetarian and when we replied vegan they helpfully pointed out everything on the menu that we could eat- a lot of it and even the naan! The garlic and plain naan were both delicious and a treat as I find naans aren’t usually sfv. The meal sets were a good price- a curry, rice (v small portion), naan, salad, a samosa, pakora, drink (including wine) and dessert (not vegan) for 1,700. Would definitely recommend for the helpful staff, English menu and tasty well priced food.

We really enjoyed our meal here! The owners were so friendly and when we asked for our curries with no ghee etc the man taking our order confirmed we were vegan and listed everything vegans don’t eat which was really reassuring. I had the dahl and my partner had the aubergine curry, and we shared a rice and naan. Both were delicious! We had also the veg samosa and veg pakora starters which were great, too - lots of nice flavours. It was nice to have a change in cuisine, too. Our total meal cost ¥4900 (including 2 beers & a wine) which felt like great value.

Friendly staff, good portions. You can take vegetable set and tell them that you are vegan they understand. Good service. The only thing that is not vegan is ice cream as desert. The waiter was looking for something else for us, but we were full anyway.

I would definitely give that restaurant five stars, if I could. You can get everything vegan and the price for the set menu for dinner was pretty fair (1700). I got a starter, main meal with Curry, naan and rice. As I drink I had white wine and a dessert was included as well.

The mixed vegetable curry was really tasty and the naan was beautiful! I asked for the curry to be spicy (There was normal, hot and very hot) but it only had the littlest bit of spice, not to my spice liking but that didn’t matter because it was so good. The naan had a slight sweetness to it but only a hint, I was tempted to ask for another naan but knew I was just being greedy. In total with an orange juice I believe my meal was ¥1,400. Staff very friendly!

We came here because practically every other vegan choice was closed. Wow! This was actually one of the best vegan meals of our stay. Owners speak English, and were very friendly and willing and understanding of vegan and other diets.
