Nice ambience - Edit
I’ll start by saying a vegetarian would probably give a better rating.
Read moreThey are not really set up for vegans or foreigners with no English on the menu or spoken (then again not much Vietnamese would be spoken in England, don’t want to sound too much like a little Englander haha). There is very limited choice for vegans which lowered my rating. Apart from salad the only vegan thing on the western menu is a snack box. Which is just random deep fried stuff including a lettuce leaf 😂. I’m not sure deep frying everything makes it western, Scottish perhaps but then a mars bar was missing. The menu is only available on an iPad which I didn’t care for, but that may be my age! Then when the bill came it had the 5% service charge which I hate. If it’s on the bill be honest and show it in the prices. I’m sure this was hidden away on the iPad menu somewhere. With the menu being electronic I’m sure it would be fairly simple to provide an English version. The lift not working and having to walk up 2 flights of stairs wasn’t ideal either.
On the upside some of the food was very good, the Singapore noodles and soup were decent. The young waiting staff are very helpful and attentive. Usually the hidden service charge puts me off tipping (even though it’s too low at 5% anyway) but they were so good I still left a proper tip. The ambience is excellent and with the free buffet (which has no vegan choices) I’m sure a vegetarian would rate this place well.

A Lively Night - Edit
It was a lively and pleasant night at Quynh’s House. The restaurant serves food from different part of the world. The vibe was cozy and crowded really made me feel fresh and alive. My to die for dish would properly be the laksa. The fresh ingredients and amazing broth and a little kick from the spices, it was by far to me the BEST laksa I’ve ever tried. And don’t get me started on the buffet, the wide variety of jelly and bread (for those vegetarian out there); also most importantly its free! My only concern to you guys is that it isn’t vegan but there will be vegan options. It’s on the menu for which is which or you could just ask the waitress to remove non-vegan ingredients.

New must-try place in town! - Edit
Ambience staff, great food at an affordable price for a restaurant with such an amazing service. My friend is a vegan, so it was nice that their food has options for vegan lovers. Surely we'll come back and try more of their dishes.
