Yum yum yum! - Edit
We had pho soup and stir fried pho, both so delicious that we finished it all. The dishes come with a lot of veggies and tofu, which is a plus! The environment is really nice too, the decor and lights are beautiful. Our experience ended with steamed banana dessert. Love this place!

Very impressive and authentic Vietnamese food - Edit
The meals we had were fairly simple but still delicious and very well priced. There was a lovely atmosphere inside, however the service was somewhat lacking.
Read moreThey also offer a really nice range of cocktails and juices if you don’t drink, the raspberry juice was especially delicious.
In a very central area not far from Alexanderplatz.
I would definitely recommend and go again myself.
Pros: Fresh ingredients , Lovely drinks , Well priced
Cons: Slow service, Quite simple

Interesting but not impressive - Edit
We had the summer rolls and steamed dumplings as starters. The summer rolls contained rice noodles and some vegetables, but were missing the heaps of fresh herbs that make summer rolls such a great dish. The dumplings were good. Our main dish faux fish. It came on a hot plate, a tofu scramble wrapped in seaweed on a pile of vegetables, with rice on the side. The "fish" was interesting, the vegetables were crunchy and the presentation on the hot plate was nice.

Delicious food small venue - Edit
One for the nicest Dim Sum portions I have had. Menu isn’t massive but the food is great with some lovely flavours. Tables are quite close together. Cash only is on a tiny sign inside.

Fresh, healthy food - Edit
The food here is so good, really food portion sizes and everything is as fresh as could be. My partner and I both got the steamed udon noodles and they were the best udon noodles either of us have ever had. We also got the bun bao and the dumplings/ goyzas, both were incredible.

Very disappointing in all aspects - Edit
I am uneasy about using reviews for vegan places, as many vegans seem to uncritically upvote even the most problematic venues. To me this is an example.
Read moreOur food consisted of a steamed starter, bobun, a coconut curry and "home made lemonade".
On the bobun and equally the curry there was random salad thrown over it, some with uncut big pieces i would expect to be discarded and not served to customers. We would describe the spring rolls of the bobun as "greasy". The coconut curry was of random taste, as was the steamed starter. I have no idea what made the home made lemonade special, I would have liked Fanta equally.
We abandoned the food after a few minutes, left our mostly uneaten plates, communicated the various problems to the staff and asked for the bill. Full payment for the uneaten food was accepted by staff, and off we went to find dinner somewhere else.

Close to perfection - Edit
The Oranienburger Strase in Berlin is a busy (side) street with many shops and restaurants. Several of those restaurants have a man outside, trying to persuade people to come in and eat. One restaurant is quite the opposite: it has a queue of people waiting outside wanting to come in! Some even chose to eat outside, in the rain. You guessed it: "Quy Nguyen - Vegan Living" is popular.
Read moreI visited the at worst possible moment: on a Saturday, at dinner time (6 pm). The place was packed and people were waiting outside in the rain to get in. Yet, the staff quickly found me a spot and presented the German / English menu. I asked the waiter for his advice and simply ordered what he suggested.
Eventough the place was absolutely packed, the food arrived very quickly. As a starter I had "summer rolls". They were fantastic, but the peanut dip made them sensational. The high quality of the ingredients, the subtile flavours and the sauce made this simple starter something special. Great combination!
The main meal was "Cha Ca": a grilled seaweed steak with vegetables and rice. "Vegetables and rice" may sound simple, the "magic" is in the choice of vegetables, herbs and oil used for stir-frying. The vegetables weren't too soft or too hard, but just right. Also, the dressing was so subtle that the original taste of the vegetables remained. Oh, and don't forget the beautiful presentation!
Even the drink was delightful. I had a mango lasi (vegan of course), but with a little mint in it. Again, this changed a well-known drink into a special treat.
So why is the title of this review "close to perfection" and not "perfect"? The restaurant only accepts cash and that's a real disappointment. If you want to eat on a company account, this is a problem. Also, who carries cash these days?
Pros: fantastic food, big portions, modest prices
Cons: can be very busy, cash only

Six stars? - Edit
Best food we have had in Berlin. The dim sum was a good starter. I ordered the spicy pho, can’t remember the exact name but it’ll be easy to spot on the menu. The veggies were the perfect firmness and the level of spice perfect. Very large portion but I was starved and ate it all!
