Vegan currywurst! - Edit
It was great to try a vegan version of this legendary German dish! As someone who hasn't eaten dead things in nearly 30 years, I can't compare what I had to the classic version - but I can say that it was pretty damn tasty! It's really good value too. What's not to like?

I love that here in Berlin you can have basically everything in its vegan version, so we tried this street-food yesterday because it was a lil bit late to sit at some restaurant and our toddler was running out of patience..We took It and ate it sitting on some stairs..It was ok, a fast snack for a cheap price in a city in which most vegan alternatives are not cheap. I honestly was not full after eating that but I guess it depends on how much you usually eat (and I do eat a lot).
Read moreIt is okay, a lot of sauce, the sausage itself it's nothing special and so are the fries, I think you get what you pay for. I'm happy they offer a vegan version and a vegan mayo too, but it's not something I would eat again..

Curry 61 offers a vegan currywurst with vegan chips and vegan truffle mayonnaise and it was really really good. It was really fun for us to have a vegan version of a German classic. Definitely recommend

Wasn't sure about trying the classic sausage dish as not vegan rest but did and liked it. Curry tomato sauce very nice, sausage good boingy texture and fries nice. Cheap on the go lunch.

The sauce is good and overall it comes pretty close to actual currywurst but the texture of the sausage is not exactly it, the outer part is too thick.

Close to train stop 'Hackescher Markt'. Many tourists, sometimes long lines (queues). A few tables inside & outside. Staff is always funny & friendly. They have vegan mayo, also vegan truffle mayo. If you dislike "curry salt", tell them to use "natural salt", this will still cause curry powder to be applied but not extra curry mixed with salt.

not super good. I would not eat this regularly or at all. The sauce and spices make it okay. But the sausage is not tasty in my opinion. I do not like the texture, especially inside.

My first vegan currywürst and I definitely think it was a success! Perfect quick dinner when paired with the fries (the vegan mayo was a hit too). No outside seating but there’s a lovely park a few meters away😄
