Too salty, replacement: hot water added to the soup

I've been eating there for some time while they were still in Kreuzberg.
Today, in Mitte, I ordered the pho soup that was way too salty. I talked to the friendly waitress who suggested to replace my soup and I agreed.
I've been served the same vegetables and noodles and soup, just with added hot water. I could clearly taste the first upper lever that was very watery and much less salted, and the level underneath was very salty again. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice cocktails

Cons: Unprofessional, no refund offered, too salty

Awesome!

We ate some of the most delicious Vietnamese Food ever at this place. Their soups are incredible. Although we had to wait some time to get a seating (because it was so full), the staff remained friendly and service was really fast.

Very good

Went there on a Sunday evening and food was served quickly even though the restaurant was almost fully occupied. I had a green ice tea, dumplings and the Cha ca. Very delicious. Can only recommend this place.

Delicious food, friendly service

During our stay in Berlin we went here twice. We liked everything about this charming restaurant: Flavorful, tasty Vietnamese dishes, very reasonable prices, incredibly quick service, nice atmosphere. The waitress was simply amazing. Fast, efficient and friendly. The drinks (both smoothies are delicious) arrived within minutes and the food didn’t take much longer (even though the place was full both times). Will definitely recommend this place to everyone heading to berlin.

Cons: None whatsoever

fast

I’m impressed how fast I get my order despite of how full was the restaurant. The food was really hot so I had to eat it very slow but the coffee was quite tasty

Pros: fast, tasty

Cons: too hot soup

Such a good experience

We arrived here just before 5 so I don’t know how busy it gets later on, but we had a table immediately. Service was friendly and incredibly quick. We’d been served and were finished eating within 40 minutes! I had the dim sum and a bowl of pho. The portion sizes are really good and I would definitely go back.

Pros: Friendly staff, Nice and atmosphere, Good portion sizes

Delicious food, beautiful place

I've been here twice and it's so good! Will definitely be back. I never had Vietnamese before, so tried a lot of different things. Only good things to say about this place, will recommend it.

Cons: Doesn't take cards

Meh.

I got a meal with (a lot of) noodles and (a few small slices of) spring rolls. Seems like I also got the last part of the iceberg lettuce on top. The spring rolls were so good, I would have loved more of it in the dish. The rest of the meal was bland. Too expensive for what I got. Waitresses were stressed and rushed. I was quite disappointed as the reviews were so great on Happy Cow.

Pros: Spring rolls were yum!, Cozy interior.

Cons: Overall bland food., Waitresses seemed very stressed.

Vegan Tourist Lifesaver

Fantastic service (and in English for non-German speakers), and the menu leaves you absolutely spoiled for choice! Delicious vegan Vietnamese dishes are so hard to come by & all on the menu are spectacular. The dumplings and spring rolls are filled with tofu, vegetables and pure happiness. All the mains, Bao & Pho are all equally incredible- would recommend to anyone.

Pros: Warm indoors, Incredibly reasonably priced for portion sizes, Delicious!

Cons: None whatsoever

Healthy, Fresh and Delicious

This was my favourite meal I had in Berlin. I had a noodle dish with chopped spring rolls and fresh veg on top. The veggies tasted incredibly fresh and the noodles had a nice flavourful sauce. Amazingly fast and friendly service. Very well priced. I wish I had gone back more to try more dishes.

Pros: Fast service , Well priced

Super fast and delicious

We came here for dinner and it was very full, we took the last table. But the service was extremely fast and the food was fantastic. Super recommend the seaweed fillet and the spicy lemongrass coconut pho

Bad service - ok food

The young waitress that takes order provides the worst service and experience ever: Rushed, doesn’t reply when asked to recommend the most popular dishes, leaves in the middle of the order...
Food is ok, nothing amazing about it. If you passing by why not, but if you are far, you can forget about it

I quite enjoyed Com Nieu. It has to be one of best vegan restaurants in Berlin.

Com nieu is little bit salty for me but still I think I’m gonna give it another try. Overall food is quite impressed. The young bartender is really friendly

Pros: Cousy place , Lots of vegan choices

Cons: Quite expensive for me

Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Pros: komplett vegane Karte, schönes Ambiente, schneller Service

Very tasty and special food

With all those numerous asian restaurants here in Berlin, it is not easy to find a place with a recognisable kitchen. This is one! Enjoy! 🤗

Came here for Viet food; got a bibimbap

To start off with, I thought this was a really nice looking restaurant. It had a warm and cosy ambience, and had a little bit of R&B playing to set the mood. Even though I came here for lunch in the afternoon it really seemed like a place for dinner, with all the pretty hanging lanterns and illuminated floating box shelves behind the bar.

I ordered spring rolls for my starter, which came on a leaf of romaine lettuce and a simple soy dipping sauce. I have to say that 2 spring rolls was a bit of an odd portion size, but that could be forgiven because it tasted superb - the skin was bubbly and super crispy, and I was impressed by the filling which featured, amongst the usual veg, pine nuts, curry leaf (I think!), and wood ear mushroom. It was a slight detour from the usual which I thoroughly enjoyed.

For my main, I ordered the Com Nieu, which actually really caught me off guard. The menu described it as a rice bowl with pickled stir-fried tofu on rice with veg, kimchi, and a 'special Asian BBQ sauce (slightly spicy)'. Therefore, I had set my expectations for something not distinctively traditional, but with a Vietnamese flavour profile nonetheless.

What I received was nowhere near what I expected. Arriving in a (lukewarm) earthenware bowl, the tofu was thinly sliced with barely any hint of it being pickled at all. All the veg was fried with the tofu so it ended up tasting like a standard stir-fry. The special Asian BBQ sauce turned out to be... gochujang—that is, Korean chili sauce that one could easily get from a tub in an Asian supermarket. That was super disappointing for me, because I ended up with what was essentially a basic bibimbap. There were no fresh herbs and no variety of tastes and textures, it just a spicy stir fry on rice.

Despite giving this place a 3, I would be happy to come back and try some of the more traditional dishes, given the promising spring rolls and other very positive reviews. The atmosphere and service was good; it's a shame that the Com Nieu let the whole experience down.

Pros: Next level spring rolls, Warm Buddhist vibe, Decent service

Cons: Com Nieu was uninspiring and deceitful
