Delicious Vietnamese plant based cuisine - Edit
I enjoyed my meal here watching the world go by. Plenty of outdoor seating. Many locals were eating here which is a great sign. The Bò Bún was full of flavour. I would come back again.

We stopped here for a quick bite. There were several vegan options. We had a mixed platter option with tofu, galangal soup, rice and salad. The food was freshly prepared but a little sweet and lacking in spice. The service was okay and it was not too expensive. Overall it’s okay but nothing more

It’s open and it’s great! Vietnamese restaurant with a very cozy and familiar atmosphere and a selection of vegan options. Beware, one of the dishes labelled as vegan contains butter and egg clearly stated in the ingredients, must be a mistake that is labelled as vegan and not vegetarian.

Not closed has just changed names is now called Que Toi, super cute outdoor dining on a lovely street. Has a clearly labelled Vegetarian/ Vegan section on the menu (although caution fried rice has real egg even tho it’s labelled vegan each item has list of all things included so easy to avoid and I’m sure you could ask to have it without it wait staff speak English)

This was the perfect dinner! I loved that they had tofu and so many other vegan options. The menu was labeled with vegan. The food tasted very good. The staff was also very friendly and helpful with any vegan related questions I had.

Wonderful Vietnamese restaurant - Edit
To find a place in Bordeaux that offers vegan protein is difficult. I was at a winery and requested a salad (that is usually accompanied by a serving of duck). The waitress looked at me incredulously like I was from Mars. Traditional Bordeaux fare is meat of many varieties and cheese.
Read moreBong Sen is a savior. The tofu gyoza were delicious as were the Vegan samosa appetizer. There is a section on the menu that is dedicated to vegetarian/vegan options. The Que Toi Vegan Salad with vegan steak and tofu is exceptional- protein, light with a delectable vegan sauce.
