Family-run vegetarian eatery where you order a la carte or choose from buffet of different veggies and soy meat dishes, rice, and noodle dishes. Located in small alley in old town that is difficult to find - it's between Le Loi and Hai Ba Trung: take the alley mid-block to the south, toward the river, from Phan Chu Trinh for 30 meters and find the restaurant on the right. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-9:00pm. Last order 8.30PM.

Must go - Edit
Must go if you are in the area, cheap and super tasty. I went there twice, had the buffet each time and also tried some bao buns.

Hidden Vegan Gem - Delicious Food & Warm HospitalityHidden Vegan Gem - Delicious Food & Warm Hospitality - Edit
This family-run vegan restaurant is an absolute treasure! They offer a fantastic choice of à la carte dishes as well as delicious prepared food, ensuring something for everyone. Even though their English is basic, the staff made a sincere effort to understand and accommodate all my requests, which I truly appreciated.
The food is outstanding—every dish is flavorful, fresh, and made with care. I’ve been back multiple times because I loved not just the food, but also the genuine friendliness of the family. The quiet, cozy terrace adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
It’s good, good, and GOOD! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing vegan food and warm hospitality.

Very disappointing - Edit
Had great expectations after reading all the good reviews, but very disappointing. The Cao lau was pretty tasteless and the serving very small. The fried spring rolls were ok but also very small. The fresh fruit juice were cut with water and full of ice, so again very disappointing. Expensive for what it is, we left still hungry, this is the first time it happened to us in Vietnam.

Ottimo - Edit

Very good - Edit
Wanted to try a cao lau, this one was nice. The crispy bits on top were delicious, I’d eat them by the boat load. The summer rolls were lovely too.

Vegan highlight - Edit
Perfect for a vegan backpacker, the food was sensational and rotated daily, cheap prices and amazing vibe seated amongst locals and tourists. Tucked away down an alley this was a favourite spot for us.

Tasty - Edit
We went there for dinner on a Friday night and there was only us and another table of guest.
Read moreWe had a seat upstair, it was simple yet cosy.
The food was delicious, well prepared and reasonably priced.
The restaurant is located at some kind of small alley and the setting from outside is not very attractive.
We managed to get there using Google Map but in the darkness, we sort of got a bit lost to try to get back to the crowded main street.
Pros: Food
Cons: Might not be the easiest place to locate

You MUST go here - Edit
Backpackers i implore you, if you want a cheap DELICIOUS and filling completely vegan meal- this is THE place. It’s ran by a small group of women (I assume are family) and it’s very basic settings but the food is absolutely incredible. Buffet style so they will load you up a plate with everything on and it was so filling we couldn’t even finish it for only 80k. We went back multiple times over the 5 days and it never failed us. Highly recommend

the vegetarian cao lao was absolutely phenomenal, possibly the best meal i’ve had in vietnam. the place is a little hard to find as it is hidden down a back alley, but the many flavourful food options make it absolutely worth it. summer rolls and eggplant were also yummy. would definitely come back!

We ate here on our last night in Hoi An. The food was really good. Lots of options. We sat on the little balcony which was lovely. It’s kind of hard to find as it’s in the alleyways.

Wonderful! - Edit
A very cosy place with delicious vegan food. We went for a buffet to try out different dishes, but the individual dishes that we saw people order also looked very very good. Vegan banana cake was fantastic. The balcony upstairs has a nice view over the rooftops.

Hidden, completely vegan restaurant in Hoi An where you can either chose from a large buffet or chose a meal from a menu. Everything we had was delicious, especially the Cao Lao and the brownie. In my opinion much better than the tourist places!

Affordable prices, cash only - Edit
Lovely little restaurant, with a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes. I had the vegan noodle salad with mock meat and it was so yummy! The mockmeat/tofu they used was delicious. It came with a peanut miso sauce which was delicious. My partner had the buffet which he liked also. I really enjoyed the bahn baos, only downside there was no chilli to dip into it.
