Crispy tofu

The buffet option with rice was out of this world. The balcony is lovely and secluded.

Good food nice athmosphere upstairs.

Went last night , unfortunately the Bao bun were sold out but my cau lau soup was big filling and tasty, it had inside local rice noodles that I haven't tried before seitan and tofu. A real bargain for 45.

Must go if you are in the area, cheap and super tasty. I went there twice, had the buffet each time and also tried some bao buns.

Hidden Vegan Gem - Delicious Food & Warm HospitalityHidden Vegan Gem - Delicious Food & Warm Hospitality

This family-run vegan restaurant is an absolute treasure! They offer a fantastic choice of à la carte dishes as well as delicious prepared food, ensuring something for everyone. Even though their English is basic, the staff made a sincere effort to understand and accommodate all my requests, which I truly appreciated.

The food is outstanding—every dish is flavorful, fresh, and made with care. I’ve been back multiple times because I loved not just the food, but also the genuine friendliness of the family. The quiet, cozy terrace adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

It’s good, good, and GOOD! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing vegan food and warm hospitality.

Very disappointing

Had great expectations after reading all the good reviews, but very disappointing. The Cao lau was pretty tasteless and the serving very small. The fried spring rolls were ok but also very small. The fresh fruit juice were cut with water and full of ice, so again very disappointing. Expensive for what it is, we left still hungry, this is the first time it happened to us in Vietnam.

Pros: Staff is nice

Cons: Very small servings, Fruit juices cut with water, Expensive for what it is

Ottimo

Cons: Tavolo unto, Il nome fuori è Ba Dam

Very good

Wanted to try a cao lau, this one was nice. The crispy bits on top were delicious, I’d eat them by the boat load. The summer rolls were lovely too.

Vegan highlight

Perfect for a vegan backpacker, the food was sensational and rotated daily, cheap prices and amazing vibe seated amongst locals and tourists. Tucked away down an alley this was a favourite spot for us.

Pros: The quality of food and flavours , Rotating menu , The price

Tasty

We went there for dinner on a Friday night and there was only us and another table of guest.
We had a seat upstair, it was simple yet cosy.
The food was delicious, well prepared and reasonably priced.
The restaurant is located at some kind of small alley and the setting from outside is not very attractive.
We managed to get there using Google Map but in the darkness, we sort of got a bit lost to try to get back to the crowded main street.

Pros: Food

Cons: Might not be the easiest place to locate

Amazing spot

I just realized I didnt review this place after all of my visits in January.
This place was one of my favorites in Vietnam.
Great terrace to sit and enjoy the food.
Great choices and great taste.

Super good Cao Lau!!

Easy to find if you follow the instructions on google (we found it on first try)

Pros: friendly, good value for money, great food

You MUST go here

Backpackers i implore you, if you want a cheap DELICIOUS and filling completely vegan meal- this is THE place. It’s ran by a small group of women (I assume are family) and it’s very basic settings but the food is absolutely incredible. Buffet style so they will load you up a plate with everything on and it was so filling we couldn’t even finish it for only 80k. We went back multiple times over the 5 days and it never failed us. Highly recommend

Pros: Price , Buffet style , Delicious options

phenomenal food in a great location

the vegetarian cao lao was absolutely phenomenal, possibly the best meal i’ve had in vietnam. the place is a little hard to find as it is hidden down a back alley, but the many flavourful food options make it absolutely worth it. summer rolls and eggplant were also yummy. would definitely come back!

Really good

We ate here on our last night in Hoi An. The food was really good. Lots of options. We sat on the little balcony which was lovely. It’s kind of hard to find as it’s in the alleyways.

We loved it

Came here multiple times and really loved the food. The mock meat on lemongrass „drumsticks“ from the buffet were amazing!!!

I can recommend both the buffet (you pay only as much as you choose) and the dishes from the menu.

A hidden gem that's not too hidden

On a quaint alley in the midst of the bustling old town of Hoi An you will find a delightful place.

The staff are welcoming and friendly. Gave me some recommendations - Cao Lau & Steamed Bun. Absolutely mouth watering.

Very reasonable pricing too.

Thank you for a delicious meal. I wish I was staying longer to have more.

Be careful of the motorbikes down this path lol

Pros: Food options, Location, Price

Wonderful!

A very cosy place with delicious vegan food. We went for a buffet to try out different dishes, but the individual dishes that we saw people order also looked very very good. Vegan banana cake was fantastic. The balcony upstairs has a nice view over the rooftops.

It’s all that!

Everything they’re saying is true. Dont miss this spot. Delicious, authentic and fully vegan. Bao buns are huge! Spicy soup is full of veggies, tofu, mushies and nori + noodles comes on the side.

Excellent!

Hidden, completely vegan restaurant in Hoi An where you can either chose from a large buffet or chose a meal from a menu. Everything we had was delicious, especially the Cao Lao and the brownie. In my opinion much better than the tourist places!
