A disappointed loyal customer - Edit
Unfortunately I can't give more than 3 stars to Pust. The quality of the food is really good, but they keep removing vegan options. First they changed from fully vegan to vegetarian, then they removed the vegan brunch menu leaving only the avocado toast and a couple of pastries. There's barely anything vegan left now. Too bad because the concept is cool and the people are nice, but it doesn't meet my needs anymore.
Read moreI have to lower my rating to 2 stars. The avocado toast is now almost 200 kr and the last time I went I got a slice that was literally 8 cm long and 5 cm wide. This is honestly a joke.

Cosy (renamed Fint Cafe) - Edit
What's better than to sit down with a coffee in a cosy cafe after a hike in the snow after the sun has set? Fint has a nice atmosphere, perfect for sitting down with friends or to go solo and enjoy a book. They had a lovely oat latte and vegan wienebrod. The menu offers several other vegan options :)

Now renamed Fint Cafe! - Edit
Very nice chill vibe and cozy seating. A few vegan options including lentil soup, chia pudding and vegan blondies. Oat milk is available in drinks but does cost 6kr extra. I tried the soup and it was delicious!

I love pust, but… - Edit
… recently you charge extra for oat milk instead of cow milk. Are you buying Happy Oats or what? It’s outrageous and very upsetting… therefore 3 stars, but only because I expect better from you. what can you do to change this? What can we as community do?
Read moreOtherwise, Pust is the only fully vegetarian café around, and even if I wish they pushed for fully plant-based like they did before, they have my respect and kudos for making a positive impact.

Some vegan options - Edit
Pust is a sweet place to be in. I went there two times, first time they had a vegan chocolate muffin with cream and a raw blueberry cake - both delicious. They also offer vegan milk.
Read moreI also had a smoothie. Second time they didn't have anything vegan, but made a fresh smoothie for me.

Dont go for dinner - Edit
Cute cafe and staff/vibes were nice, but didn't have any vegan options for dinner (they don't serve the breakfast/lunch menu all day). Would have definitely come back in the morning if I had time though.

Cute Café with some vegan options - Edit
It’s a cute coffee shop that offers plant-based milks for drinks, avocado toast or vegan blondies and cronuts. I had a vegan flat white which was good and a blondie that was okay. The atmosphere is nice for studying or reading as well.

No vegan options besides avocado toast, they do have plant based milk and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is nice as well but don’t go expecting much for vegans

They betray themselves - Edit
First, pust WAS probably the best place in Tromsø to get some good vegan brunch.
Read moreAdditionally, I have to say that pust started as a fully vegan café but as now they have 1 vegan dish and 2 small vegan pastries - everything else is with animal products.
Their avocado toast is still superb. They have a few warm vegan drinks and 2 vegan pastries. However, I would love if they would go fully vegan again (they were in the very beginning). Also, it would be great if we don't have to pay extra for plant milk.
It can be very crowded on the weekend and you might not get a table. They regularly increase the prices while decreasing the quality.
Edit (06.02.24): They removed half of their vegan options, therefore I had to change my rating to 2 stars. I also don't like that they move towards more and more esoteric stuff - tarot cards etc. It feels like some rich people pretend to care for the environment and mindfulness. I cannot recommend going there anymore.

Healthy - Edit
Really nice place and nice atmosphere, the food for me was good, although not for my husband. He had a veggie option rather than vegan and it was very health kick style of food which isn’t really for us. We do prefer the full on plate full. If you go have the brunch board, be wary to like nuts.

Lovely place, awesome food - Edit
Been here two times in my two days in Tromsø. Once for brunch and once in the evening.
Read moreThe brunch was great, I got the all day brunch, which has good vegan options for all sections. Also the price was really good for how much you get, considering its Norway.
In the evening they have 2 pizzas. Both with cheese. I specified that I want the red pizza without cheese, and they offered to replace it with some avocado. And the pizza also tasted awesome.
They also have some nice vegab snacks.
So can only recommend
Pros: Awesome food, Awesome staff, Cozy atmosphere
Cons: Could have more vegan options

Disappointed - Edit
Pust claims to be a plant based consept on Google, however they're not. They seem to be vegetarian, and they use cows milk and cheeses from animal milks. Animal milks are not plant based. I came here because I wanted to try some vegan baked goods, but they had none. The baked goods they had were not plant based/vegan.
Read moreThey had three vegan/plant based on their menu, but that doesn't make them a plant based concept.
If they actually want to be a plant based concept, as they claim to be, they need to ditch cows milk, and all other animal products.

One of two locations in Tromso offering vegan/veggie only options. Food was delicious and service was great. Operates in conjunction with Pust Lifestyle which has a floating Sauna in Tromos harbour (recommend if want a freezing dip in the water)
