Our favourite breakfast in Shkodër - Edit
The only vegan option is the vegan Father's Rice which is rice and beans that come with grilled vegetables and garlicky cabbage salad. Great sized portions for hungry people!

Only one proper option, get the father's rice. It's great, although the rice is a little overcooked. It's nothing crazy or special, just really good rice, tomatoey beans and salad with grilled veggies. Also at 750 lek it's decent value for Albania

Big portion - Edit
We both had the father's rice, which was really good and a big portion. You have to specify that you would like to have the vegan version. This comes with rice, beans, grilled vegetables and salad. We also had a bruschetta, which was really good, but we were (perhaps naively) surprised that the toppings weren't just tomatoes but also olives.

I said I was vegan, and the waiter immediately suggested their popular dish "fathers rice", which was served within 5 minutes with beans, grilled vegetables and salad and was very tasty!

A huge vegan portion of Albanian food! - Edit
Similar to other reviews we had the Fathers Rice that comes with a big salad, rice and beans. It was super good and a huge portion! Highly recommend!

Great vegan food and very cheap - Edit
There are a limited number of vegan options but the staff knows what is vegan and what they had was really tasty and reasonably healthy. We had a village salad, chips and the fathers rice, which is bean and rice with a side plate of salad and roasted vegetables. Very tasty and the portions were huge!

10/10 would recommend, the "fathers rice " (rice and white beans in a tasty sauce) was delicious l. traditionally comes with meat but you can ask for the vegan option and you get a big plate of grilled vegetables instead , big portions and only €6.50. I went 2 days in a row
