Nice but a bit pricey - Edit
We visited Purezza before heading to a gig at the nearby AO Arena. It seemed like every other concert-goer had the same idea as the place was packed at 630pm. This meant that service was painfully slow. But when we finally did get our pizzas they were pretty good with a nice sourdough base and good quality toppings. Not the largest though so a bit pricey at £12 each. They also offer small plates such as lasagne, mac 'n' cheese and caesar salad which the menu says are a perfect companion to your pizza - maybe we should have taken the hint!

Great vegan pizza in NQ - Edit
Fully vegan, great pizza options, though I found the white base/truffle pizza little sickly. The dough balls are insanely good though.

Much better than other fast Italian chains! - Edit
I had two small dishes: a lasagna (small but nice) and a Caesar salad (nice and filling, without being heavy). Great all-vegan alternative to chains like Pizza Express, in a much more welcoming environment.

Gorgeous meal - Edit
I am vegan but my husband is not, and although he eats a lot of vegan food, he is very skeptical about vegan pizza as he thinks it’s always minging. So I had to use all my persuasive skills to get him to try this place.

Maybe my expectations were too high? - Edit
Been waiting to try here for ages and while everything we ordered was nice, I wouldn’t agree that it is the best pizza in the UK? I had the famous ‘Parmigiana party’ which was nice but not enough topping and the flavour didn’t pop as much as I’d hoped! My son had the pesto pizza, which was delicious, really nice homemade pesto. The ‘cheesy’ dough balls were not very cheesy at all? I’d try again but with less expectation next time!

The best pizza in Brighton, now in Manchester! - Edit
I’ve visited Purezza in Brighton several times, so a trip to the Manchester restaurant was always going to be on the cards.
Read moreThe pizzas here do not disappoint; those perfected sourdough bases from the mother store are just as light and tasty here as they are down south.
The staff were super friendly, I arrived very late (after 9pm) after my journey was disrupted and was accommodated no problem.
I had The One That’s Telling Porkies – described as a “white base with molten cheese, wild forest mushrooms, courgettes mixed with pesto and balsamic glaze”. It was very tasty and not too heavy a meal, which is exactly what I wanted give I was eating later at night.
I highly recommend Purezza and will be returning to give The One With Pepperoni a go before I leave town next week!
Pros: Awesome pizzas - what else is there to love?!🍕🌱, Super friendly staff, Late opening hours in a city central location

A slice of the action - Edit
Having visited the Brighton Purezza branch a few years back, which was amazing, I was excited to see one in Manchester and quickly made a reservation. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the excellent staff and ordered the honey, I want the one with pepperoni and the one and only, parmigiana party pizzas to share. Both pizzas were delicious and I loved the aubergines and smoked mozzarella on the parmigiani pizza. The pepperoni pizza had a generous amount of toppings and a lovely chili kick. I couldn't really taste the chilli infused agave though. The kids pizza we ordered for our young son was massive and nearly as big as our adult pizzas, so we got it boxed up for lunch the next day👍. For dessert we got a free birthday brownie, which I shared with my son and it was delicious. My wife ordered the New York cheesecake, which was nice but not exceptional. All in all a lovely dining experience but I think since my Brighton visit, the base options have reduced slightly from the menu. Still a must visit though. Look out for offers too as we got 30% off our bill.

Amazing as always. Mum and I shared 2 pizzas as I can never decide which to order. Got the one with nduja and the all day parmigiana party. One with nduja slightly better in my opinion. Great service, very quick. Salted caramel brownie also amazing.

Best vegan pizza in Manchester - Edit
By far the absolute best vegan pizza in Manchester!
Read moreWe’ve been to the original Purezza branch in Brighton, and this Manchester branch is on par.
Superb wood-fired pizza with a nice variety of other dishes, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We’ve been to this particular location on many occasions and it’s been consistently great.
The service is always top-notch, the pizza is baked really quickly, and the drinks are delicious. The interior is very modern with lots of plants.
It’s probably a little more expensive than your regular Big Pizza chains, but absolutely worth it.
It’s one of our favourite locations in Manchester and we’re planning on dining there for many years to come for sure.
Pros: Absolutely delicious vegan pizza, Nice choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, Great service and a cosy interior
Cons: None whatsoever.

What a tasty discovery: Purezza's sour-dough pizza - Edit
The Purezza Restaurant is a nicely decorated and has a relaxed atmosphere and great food. We came here for lunch.
Read moreTheir sour-dough pizza's are a real treat and much lighter to digest than the common ones elsewhere.
The one with the truffle and the one with the tuna were a real treat. The New York Cheesecake was heavenly....and all of it vegan. Next time in Manchest we'll certainly try the others.
