Disappointed - Edit
Having visited the Brighton branch on multiple occasions and being wowed by it, we were looking forward to visiting the Manchester branch for the first time.
Read moreUnfortunately, it was a massive let down.
The service was appalling, it took nearly half an hour to get out orders taken (in a restaurant with maybe 15 other people in at the time)
We ordered drinks with our food, and one of them was incorrect (it took me another 10 minutes to flag the waiter down to let him know)
The food then had a very long wait as well, for 2 pizzas and a portion of dough balls.
During all of this, multiple other tables came in and walked out before their orders were taken due to the wait.
When the pizzas arrived, I have to say, I was disappointed with it as well.
The base was good, but the toppings on the butternut base pizza were lacking seasoning, the butternut was bland and tasteless, and the only other topping was chilli.
My partner enjoyed her truffle and mushroom pizza.
The dough balls were the highlight of the meal, but only getting 3 doughballs for the price felt quite steep.
Overall, you can get far better vegan pizza in Manchester in at least 3 places other than purezza, and we probably won't be returning to this branch.
Pros: Doughballs
Cons: Service, Bland toppings

Good food, poor service. - Edit
Visited for the first time on Friday just gone. My friend and I have been eager to eat here for some time and finally had the chance. The young lady who seated us was very pleasant and was very quick to bring our drinks. We decided to order 4 of the small plates to share before ordering pizza. It seemed like quite a bit of time passed and we still hadn’t gotten our food. Thinking this may be normal we decided to go ahead and order the pizzas. I reminded the server about our order and they assured us it wouldn’t be long. We assumed that our first order would soon arrive but our pizzas beat them. At this point we cancelled the 4 small plates. I was happy to get the pizza only to realise they had given me the wrong one. I told the server who was quick to sort it out and bring me the 4 cheese pizza I had ordered. Ok, service aside this pizza was amazing, the cheese was so good it had me questioning its vegan authenticity.
Read moreAs dissatisfied with the service as we were the food alone would make it worth another try and hope that this particular visit was an unfortunate one off.

Amazing food and service - Edit
Obviously the pizza was utterly amazing, but I almost cried actual tears eating a tiramisu for the first time in a decade. It's been my favourite dessert for so long and I've never seen a vegan one anywhere. Go just for the puddings if you don't like pizza. Next time we're on Manchester we'll be doing the lunch special 😋

I have no idea what cheeze they use but these pizzas are the best. Bit on the expensive side but so worth it as a treat when in Manny.

Buzzing at Sunday lunchtime - Edit
It was lovely to see a fully vegan restaurant very busy at a Sunday lunchtime! It’s always a treat to be presented with a menu and not have to worry about making sure everything you order it vegan. There’s a lunch special where you get a smaller pizza and a starter for a set price, but I just wanted a normal full sized Neapolitan pizza. I had a marinara with added pepperoni, and it was divine! Plenty of pepperoni. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here, but make sure to book to avoid disappointment.

Unreal pizza - Edit
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, service is super fast and so friendly. The food is the star though, hands down the best pizza I have had since going vegan. The fuoco d’amore (butternut squash and chilli) was amazing, a tiny bit of cheese but perfect without any more.
Read morePacked with flavour, and an amazing dough. The garlic dip I could eat with a spoon.

Brilliant all-vegan place! - Edit
Me and my non-vegan friend went for dinner. In total we had such a great experience here! I had the BBQ bourbon pizza & she had the margarita pizza on gluten free base. We both got dips for the crusts, and alcohol free spritzes. Tiramisu for dessert, along with a chai latte and a matcha latte. Everything was absolutely delicious! Can recommend the BBQ bourbon pizza & tiramisu 👌 I tried the gluten free & was really impressed! Tiramisu & hot drinks topped it off beautifully! I will definitely be traveling into Manchester regularly to try the rest of their menu!

Delicious pizza - Edit
June 2022 - I was a little bit disappointed with the pizza. The brocoli was soggy and the pepperoni replacement wasn't that good. I personally think the pepperfoni from Pizza Express or even Pizza Hut is nicer. That being said, the base and crust were delicious so would definitely give this place a second chance and order something else. The person I was eating with has been here before and loves their pizzas however this time they tried the lasagne and was disappointed - would recommend sticking with the pizzas as this is clearly where they put all the effort. We both had a banana colada though which were amazing! The decor was nice however I'm not a fan of unisex toilets being downstairs and so far away from the rest of the restaurant. I could probably scream/ shout for help without anybody hearing me over the music and general hustle and bustle.
Read moreDecember 22 - Ate here again and definitely chose better options this time! Would definitely recommend to anyone - especially the pizza with jalapeños and sausage crumb as it was delicious.
Oct 24 - wouldn't recommend the meatball starter, nothing to write home about.

nice staff, but simply not great food - Edit
I stopped here a few times thinking maybe the first pizza was a fluke, but having been twice I gotta say the food just isn't that great.
Read morethe cheese is watery, the salads are limp, the espresso comes in a plastic cup, and the oven I don't think is cleaned out very well or often as the pizzas all have carbon on their bottoms, so once you pick it up your fingers are made black and it's not coming off until you find soap.
I want to try more of what they offer I just can't justify it.
Pros: helpful, sociable staff , creative pizzas , nice space
Cons: the food

It’s all Vegan! - Edit
This place is amazing if you’re a pizza fan.
Read moreThey do a variety of cheeses which are all completely different. The two that we had tasted so good.
It doesn’t specify on the menu that it is a vegan place but trust that it definitely is.
The pizza bases were great. Really well cooked and not just like a standard American style takeaway. Proper Italian style.
It’s also got a lovely relaxing vibe about the place with friendly staff.
Would definitely recommend.

Ampissima scelta vegana essendo una pizzeria vegana, servizio ottimo, ambiente confortevole e pulito, pizze napoletane migliori di quelle mangiate a Napoli. Ottimo impasto, ottimi condimenti.

Black truffle & pepperoni purezzas - Edit
Came back here again for the second time and split a black truffle pizza and a pepperoni & agave pizza (which I previously had and enjoyed) with a friend. Both were enjoyable but I probably wouldn’t get the black truffle again just because it was quite rich and filling (definitely wouldn’t be able to finish a whole one). Overall very enjoyable experience here once again!
