We ordered aloo copi, a dal,biriani, and naan with a springroll side. Everything was amazing . So flavorful and not greasy. My sister hadn't eaten indian food before and said she was hooked.

I can confidently say that Gopal is the best vegetarian restaurant in the Patong area. Run by ISKCON devotees, the restaurant caters to vegetarian, vegan, and Jain diets. The restaurant offers excellent service and hospitality. You’ll find Indian, Western and Thai dishes with generous portions and at affordable prices. I would highly recommend their fresh papaya salad and Thai curries.

Lots of Vegan and Vegetarian Options - Edit
We had a lovely experience start to finish. First we were greeted by the owners son, who was so cute and showed us to our table. We then had a great meal. Finding vegetarian and vegan options in Thailand can be challenging, so this restaurant was an absolute gem to find. An amazing array of vegan and vegetarian options at a fair price, 750 baht for 2 people. Would highly recommend.

Read moreWe chose to eat here because of how extensive the vegetarian and vegan options were and we were not disappointed. I had the vegan sak Aloo, and my vegetarian partner had the Korma. We ordered a plain naan to share and we're told that they have vegan butter so we opted for a vegan butter naan. Everything was delicious!
One thing I would watch out for is that when the food arrived I queried the cream on top of my meal, which the owner confirmed was a mistake and it did have dairy, he was very apologetic and I believe this was an honest mistake but worth checking when your food arrives if you have any concerns. This issue was fixed quickly. I didn't think this warranted a loss of a star, but didn't want to omit this as it's important to always check in places that aren't 100% vegan.
We would definitely eat here again😄

The food and hospitality was amazing...we had delicious Indian food as well as international vegetarian food during our entire stay in phuket. Highly recommended for Indians.
