Food was either delicious or a bit weird (samosas had Chinese noodles inside).

We ended up here in between normal meal hours (~4pm), so that may have affected our experience. The waiter was slightly difficult to communicate with regarding what we were looking for (vegan dishes), and it seemed like most of the options we were hoping for weren’t available because of the time of day. We ended up getting a dal, a dosa, and samosas... the former two being very good, the latter not so much. Despite that, this was the best value we found, as the two of us dined for only 32 AED (~$9), but we’d still recommend trying a different Indian food option if you’re looking for a late lunch.

Pros: All vegetarian , Inexpensive , Good food if you’re selective

Cons: Wait staff not familiar with term ‘vegan ‘, Samosas were gross, Menu very limited during ‘off’ hours

Puranmal Vegetarian Restaurant

Puranmal has several restaurants in Dubai. Their food is excellent and staff very courteous.Food is always freshly prepared. The restaurant chain has different kind of restaurants. It has fine dine as well as fast food. It is a very good value for money. Must eat place.

Pros: Fresh food, Value for money, Friendly staff
