Good vegan options, not marked on menu - Edit
The restaurant has a vegetarian section of the menu. Milk and egg are listed as an allergen so everything in the vegetarian section minus two dishes that contain milk are vegan. The waiter I had understood what veganism is (it still annoys me when things aren’t clearly labelled though). Their business card states ‘vegan food’ so I trust that this is accurate.
Read moreThe food itself was quite good. I enjoyed the sag aloo and chana masala, but not so much the aubergine curry (I can’t remember its name!) which didn’t really taste of aubergine or have much texture.
I ordered three dishes and two rices between two people, which was a generous amount of food.
They stock san Miguel 250ml bottles with or without alcohol (which are vegan according to barnivore).
The restaurant itself is very plain and doesn’t have much decoration, but that seems fairly standard for the area. It was very quiet when I went late evening in October, so no booking was required.
Pros: Chana masala , Saag aloo, San Miguel
Cons: Aubergine curry, Vibe
