Quick service

Enough vegan options and they look healthy

Vegan tofu bowl was filling and big!

On vacation I rate differently then I would at home. This is because of how many vegan places are around, the quality and how many options there are in the restaurant.

Super healthy, inexpensive and many vegan options!

Inexpensive and healthy vegan-friendly fast food restaurant in Chicago!

Food****
We each got salads--the southwest and the super food vegan. The former had a kick to it and is mixed with quinoa, black beans, corn, avocado, tomato, carrot and cilantro-lime dressing w/ tofu (you can also get it with pea falafel). If you're up for a bit of a kick this salad is definitely for you! The superfood vegan was equally good but with a creamy chia dressing and no kick! The superfood vegan cookies with tofu, carrot, chickpeas, avocado, pickled red onion, hemp seed blend, and organic quinoa. Wow--good and super healthy!

Atmosphere and Parking**
Lots of seating and parking outside the restaurant. The vibe inside was casual and chill--playing pop music and booths are available as well as tables and chairs. They could definitely go around and clean the tables more!

Service****
Counter ordering service and they will bring the food to your table (as long as you have your number up)!

Price $
Under $10 for each entree

Pros: Many vegan options, Lots of seating

Cons: MEAT served at the same place—puke.

good high protein options

There are many things that can be made vegan. You can even get vegan protein powder in the shakes. I love the wrigley peeled and the superfood vegan wrap is pretty good. Solid lunch choice but nothing to go wild over.

Many vegan options

This place is very vegan friendly and has a very large menu with many different choices. The prices are reasonable and the food is fresh, the service is fast, and the seating is comfortable.

Wish the Shakes Were Vegan

Protein Bar is a nice vegan option downtown. I've had the various vegan bowls and they are good and healthy, although I don't really love the vegan cheese, it is good that they offer it. My only complaint is I wish the shakes were vegan, but even their soy protein indicates it includes trace amounts of dairy. I appreciate the fact they are upfront about this and clearly are aware of people's dietary restrictions and concerns. It just makes me said I can't get a Wrigley Peeled, which sounds wonderful!

Pros: Good Value, Friendly Staff, Healthy Food

Vegan options in the loop

The first time I ate here I got just the veggie chili and thought it was OK. I decided to give PB another shot and went with the vegan quinoa burrito, and to my surprise they had Daiya vegan cheese - this made my burrito 800 times more tasty. My favorite meal here thus far is the vegan quinoa chili topped with the vegan cheese. PB is the only place in the loop I know of that has vegan cheese, so props to them and thanks for making it easier for vegans to find lunch options in the loop. Please note, that I'm recommending this for lunch, if you're from out of town I suggest trying some of our 100% veg*n places first.
