Had the truffle mushroom burger with fries, vegan tiramisu and vegan sticky date pudding. The desserts 10/10. Couldn’t tell they were vegan, and tasted high quality. The burger was good, not my most favourite burger ever but had a strong truffle taste which is what i wanted. It’s expensive but worth it.

Classy eatery with a comfortable ambience and good view of the waterfall from the top floor of Jewel Changi Airport. Apart from the vegan options in the permanent menu (which has been recently refreshed to include new items like the Eggplant "Unagi" Donburi), there is a special black board menu with monthly vegan specials (such as the recent Veganuary 2024 Teriyaki Pulled Mushroom Burger with Portobello Mushroom Fries). The vegan items mostly contain alliums. They have many vegan cakes too!

There are so many options on the menu which is amazing!!! Everything we had was great - Mexican wrap, vegan sliders and ‘pork’ skewers. Food was flavourful and plentiful - bonus too that it was happy hour while we were there so20% off small bites and some cocktails. Overall would say best food we’ve ever had in an airport and what a view overlooking the water feature!

Yummy chicken rice - Edit
Authentic interpretation of chicken rice in vegan form. Everything from the chilli to the soup to the rice and the chick-less-ken is perfect. There is also a good view of the fountain from where we were seated. Vegan dessert was alittle bit dense but flavourful.

Singapore is a smart country. It managed to make an airport so attractive, that even locals visit to it for a day out. And for tourists the airport itself is already an attraction with the giant waterfall and the gorgeous indoor garden around it. They are all part of "Jewel", the shopping mall connected to the airport. One can spend hours here!
Read moreStill, there is one thing missing: vegan restaurants. I did find one place on Happy Cow, but it was labeled "prive", which in many languages means "private" (indicating: you are not welcome, this is by invitation only). So I basically skipped "prive" thinking it was a private affair, not for outsiders.
Yet, it turns out to be a poorly chosen name because this restaurant is in fact open to all and it is the only one in the entire airport with an entire vegan / vegetarian section on the menu. I chose "Tracy's favorite salad" and have to agree with this alleged "Tracy" 100%: what a great salad! It is rich in ingredients, ingredients complement each other rather well and the ingredients seemed to be of decent quality. As a bonus "prive" has some tables with an excellent view of the garden and waterfall.
Usually, airport food means high prices for low quality, but "prive" proves things can be different. Highly recommended!
"Prive" can be found on the 5th floor of Jewel, near the entrance and ticket gate for several of the attractions at Jewel.

You have to go through immigration to enter the Jewel, and this restaurant is in the Canopy Park so follow directions and escalators up to the top floor. This place has an abundance of vegan options, and all of them looked really good. The katsudon was delicious (had pretty realistic-tasting fake pork), the mushrooms soup was yum, the carbonara was alright and the hazelnut praline slice was delicious.

Read moreThe staff was very friendly and polite. The kind lady also noticed my bag stuffed behind my seat and got me an extra chair for my bag- where do this mindfulness now?! We took time to decide the menu and weren't rushed into anything which is fairly the norm these days. I had a good time here. Will definitely visit again.

Perfect views of the waterfall, relaxing outdoor seating and a great range of clearly marked vegan options make Privé a great spot to unwind in between the nightmare of travel. Could only be improved by a fully vegan menu.

The truffle burger is delicious, but not very filling. The dark chocolate cake is only slightly less delicious but overwhelmingly filling. I highly recommend sharing!

I spoke to the cook. They don't separate anything. They cook 'vegan' products in the meat oil. They don't wash pans between cooking meat and 'vegan' food. Everything is prepared on the same surfaces.

Suggestion: Go to the Cheers supermarket in Terminal 3 Level 1 Arrival (not the smaller one on level 2) - In the freezer they have some heat & serve vegan spaghetti bolognese in packets. They have a microwave oven that you can use to heat it.
Pros: You'd have to be really desperate to eat this
Cons: Food is not really vegan , 'Vegan' food is made on the same surfaces as meat, They take no care to separate vegan food from meat
