Only restaurant in the rural region that really tries to cater to vegetarians and vegans as far as we have discovered. Not your typical replacements like hamburgers and fries or salad with goat cheese only. Food is of good quality. Not the best, but nice, healthy ingredients and presented nicely. We’ve only tried the stews. Many starters and additional dishes are vegetarian or vegan too. Service is good too. Most staff speak excellent English and they take good care of you. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a place to have a decent veg(an) meal with some hints of Portuguese authenticity.
