Vegans love butter!

Sike! They did cook up the mushrooms in a whole stick of it after I asked for it vegan, though. The atmosphere was really nice and the food, at first taste, was good. But it was soooooo rich that I almost hated it after only eating a little bit of it (even the dishes that were truly vegan). It’s a strange thing to critique, but I feel like the flavors were off - too oily and fatty without enough spices and freshness. They do have clearly marked vegetarian and vegan items on the menu, and maybe I should have stuck with one of the few marked vegan, but they did assure me they could make a vegetarian dish vegan by removing the cheese, then they coated it with butter. I’m not bitter...

Pros: Clearly marked menu, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Food... so rich (and a bit expensive), Didn’t do a good job making things vegan

Very few options

Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. However, the only vegan options were regular menu items with no cheese. I.E bean and cheese burrito with no cheese (boring), you could get a quesadilla or enchilada with no cheese but who wants that?

So Much Goodness

Prickly Pear is a staple of my college days. Wonderful, fresh dishes and such a fun vibe. 100% recommend a stop here when you are in Ann Arbor!!

Pros: Friendly staff, Fresh, delicious fare - vegan options, Great chips + salsa and margaritas
