Pros: Schöne Location wer darauf Wert legt
Cons: TEUER, Geschmacklos

if you're with a group, you'll be fine. don't go especially - Edit
I'm traveling alone, was tired& saw vegan on this app so I walked. it's a fancy place and I, being tired, didn't notice until I set down, I should have gotten up😅 I asked for vegan menu and got gluten free one. I took the mix veg pizza with vegan cheese. I had better pizzas.. they take 150b more for it too. very expensive for one person.

Vegan cheese available - Edit
Came here after reading the reviews from Happy Cow. They offer vegan cheese, but they charge an extra 150 baht for this so just be aware of this! I got a pizza and it was delish, just ended up coming to more than I’d planned.
Read moreI assume you would be able to get pasta too with vegan cheese, but not sure which other vegan options would be available.

The worst - Edit
I was expecting waaaay more from Prego, especially considering that the chef is Italian and that the restaurant is part of a large hotel chain.
Read moreUnfortunately, it's probably the worst pizza I've had in Samui.
The base was undercooked and it still had a lot of flour stuck to it. Toppings look good, but on the contrary, they were pretty horrible.
The menu says that the vegan cheese is available on request with an extra charge. Stay away from it, it's like glue or melted plastic.
Service was horrible, the staff kept talking to each other, laughing and playing around.
I almost forgot... the pizza was very expensive

Just no. - Edit
Sure the restaurant looks great and I bet the food is good. But for vegans - just no. Don't go.
Read moreThe menu for vegans are at the last page of the gluten free menu and has five (5) options, two salads, one risotto, one pasta (380baht) and one pizza(starting from 400baht excl. toppings). If you want pasta, you have to take the gluten free.
The staff did not quite understand what vegan was and did not know that vegans don't eat egg or dairy. But the biggest issue I had was that the staff were rude and not serviceminded. They shortly answered my questions but I did not feel welcome at all. Ended up leaving without eating. For the price they charge I expect much friendlier service and if they have a vegan menu, the staff really should know what it means to be vegan in my opinion.
Pros: Cold towel when you arrive.
Cons: Expensive. Few vegan options. Rude staff.

Great vegan pasta - Edit
I had a pesto sauce the chef was happy to make for me vegan, despite the restaurant being so busy. They have a small vegan menu but all good, salad amazing and bread and dips. Pizza’s are great !

Prego vs Hungry Wolf - Edit
Did a little taste comparison between this and Hungry Wolf just down the road. I enjoyed Prego’s pizza as much as most other vegan pizzas at various places. Everything was on point, although the crust will take more time to perfect (as any good pizzeria will tell you!). It is extra to rock the plant-based cheese, so just know they’re trying but not CATERING to plant-based diets.

Great risotto - Edit
Be sure to ask for the separate vegan menu. It has an apple salad, mexican salad, risotto, cream pasta and pizza.
Read moreI wasn't impressed with the apple salad-the vegan cheese was spongy and the dressing just tasted like oil.
If I were to go back I'd get the Mexican salad instead.
The pizza was good. We did a build-your-own pizza with the vegan base.
The risotto was outstanding-apparently the restaurant's non-vegan risotto is award-winning. The amount was huge too.
Atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and upscale.
Pros: Risotto was amazing, Separate vegan menu , Nice restaurant atmosphere
Cons: Apple salad wasn't great

Separate vegan menu - Edit
There is a separate vegan menu with salad, pizza and pasta on it. The staff are helpful and they also provided 20% off due to a lunchtime promotion, so overall it was a good price.

No way!!! - Edit
I have got the Amari member card and I go there at least once a week to get a vegan pizza. Last time I have been there, I have been told there was a new policy and If I want vegan cheese on my pizza I must pay 100 thb more! There is no [censored] way that I pay extra 100 thb for vegan cheese! I am saving animal lives, water, environment by eating vegan food only and I must pay more??? Bye prego. Never again.

Delicious, Veg Italian in Chaweng - Edit
Prego has an extensive menu and clearly marks vegetarian items. Ask for their separate vegan menu listing several items that contain vegan cheeses. Wait staff don't necessarily understand vegan, I had asked to try a sample of the vegan gorgonzola but the server brought dairy gorgonzola.
Read moreI had pizza with vegan mozzarella, very tasty. And the rocket salad with vegan feta and walnuts was one of the best salads I'd had on the island.
If you're looking for high quality Italian food at a higher than average price point in a pretty restaurant, this is your spot. It would be perfect for a celebration dinner.
Pros: Vegetarian items clearly marked, Separate vegan menu
Cons: A little more expensive than average
