Cheap, good food and lovely owner - Edit
The lady that owns it is so lovely! She’s got the sweetest smile. The food is very cheap and authentic. You can choose between buffet style, soup or she can make you fried rice (this was her recommendation and it was lovely!).

It’s a bit hard to find so we tried to update the map because it was in the wrong place. You can search for ”Youta Vegetarian Food” on Google Maps and you’ll find it! Can be accessed both from the street or through the shopping centre from road AH123 (it’s right outside the doors in the alleyway).
Pros: Lovely good, Cheap, Authentic
Cons: Hard to find (tried to fix that on the map)

Best cheap and grounding food to have in Bangkok. - Edit
Was a comfortable and delightful experience having a meal there with my partner. It's 50 bhats each dish and it's full of delicious food. I recommend to visit this place 1000%.

Read morePrapai is one of my favorite vegan restaurants for daily meals in Bangkok.
I had breakfast there and also packed lunch to take back to the hotel.
Their buffet menu is very varied and seems to change often to keep customers from getting bored. Plus, it tastes great! They also have à la carte dishes like pad thai and somtam, and sometimes there are special menus on certain days.
As for the price? Oh, it's very affordable, and the staff are all friendly and always smiling.
This place has been my go-to spot for meals in Bangkok!
