Why haven’t I been before? Had a hot chocolate and strawberry gateau.
Read moreWas a mid morning stop off, but would love to return for an all day breakfast or lunch. Lovely to go somewhere that’s 100% vegan so anything on the menu is fair game. Will be back.

We visited and had all day breakfast. The portion size initially looked small but actually it was perfectly sized without leaving us feeling overly full.

I tried this place for the first time the other day and I was a bit disappointed about the size of the portions. I had a vegan mozzarella toast but it was so empty inside that I couldn’t feel full. My boyfriend had a lasagna and for £7 it wasn’t too much. The overall taste was nothing special.
Read moreI definitely love the place which looks amazing and also the 100% plant based concept. The building and the restaurant inside is stunning, with an high ceiling and a lot of light coming from really big windows. I think it used to be a bank.
The portions need to be bigger if they want to focus their business on food and not coffees and cake. I didn’t have a vegan cake or brownies but they all looked delicious. The prices were a bit high on the cakes too.
I don’t want to put a lower rate because I think the atmosphere is really nice but the food needs improving.

Just had the afternoon tea. It was really great! Perhaps the best scones I've ever had. Wonderful service and a beautiful setting. Will certainly return just for this (and for the hot food that looks amazing).

Menu for breakfast of granola, banana bread etc, lunch of sandwiches, salads and a hot food counter with lasagne, vegetable bakes etc. Jacket potatoes too.
Vegan cakes and desserts are plentiful too. Large range of plant milks including oat milk.

Visited for the first time today. Will definitely be visiting again soon. We had soup as we didn’t feel really hungry. However the hot food counter looked so amazing, with lasagna, cheesy bake, curry etc that it won’t be long before we’re back. We couldn’t resist the cake, even though we weren’t very hungry. We weren’t disappointed, it was delicious. The staff were very accommodating.

Great to see so many vegan and plant-based cafes and restaurants in Leicester city centre.
Read morePrana is situated in a very impressive building near the gardens and fountain opposite the town hall. What an amazing ceiling.
For lunch, we had their huge High Protein salads which were delicious. We returned for coffees and coffee & walnut cake in the afternoon.
Easy to recommend.
Lovely, and very helpful staff.
A full selection of cruelty-free milks: oat, almond, soya, and coconut.

Great location for meeting up with friends - Edit
This new cafe is lovely and spacious, with beautiful decor- it was definitely very ‘Snapchatable’. I visited with my friend for a morning coffee and there was an extensive range of plant milks and there was no extra cost! One of the highlights was the awesome range of vegan treats, such as a large selection of Booja Booja ice cream- making for a very indulgent morning.
