Unfortunately this is no longer a fully vegan spot. Whilst this was really disappointing to hear, the owners reaction to feedback is even more disappointing.

After announcing they were going to start serving meat on a post on Facebook, they understandably started receiving criticism from their vegan customer base. Rather than the owners explaining why they’re made this decision, they removed negative comments, disabled comments altogether and started calling people bully’s for critiquing their decision.

This used to be a fantastic vegan cafe which we visited often and recommended to others. Suddenly they announced they were going to start serving animal products - for money. I don't believe they were ever genuine vegans.

Previous 5 star reviews would have been from when they were 100% vegan and were loved and supported by the vegan community. Now they are just another full omni cafe there's no point treating them any differently from any other cafe. The food has always been very expensive but we'd support them because they were purely vegan. Now that it's just an expensive omni cafe, you may as well go find somewhere cheaper, it's really not worth the money. Last time I visited I was given the wrong cake as a take out option. I didn't complain because I wanted to support them so just ate it, but this level of dizzy service won't hold up with the mainstream customers. Also they had a one star food rating for zero record keeping. They'll probably give meat eaters food poisoning if they can't sort that out! Another thing vegans were more forgiving over but no way would I say to eat there even as an omni with the price you're paying vs what you get back from them.

Never had such bad service. They can't take criticism. Food wasn't great before and now they claim they have to serve non vegan to compete. If only they just improved a mediocre menu they might not have had an issue or size down an insanely big place. Go see recent reviews on Google to get a better picture. They think everyone's discriminating against them because they now serve meat? Talk about Kendal Jenner pepsi advent.

Prana was never a good vegan place, using mainly cheap substitutes and ingredients. Yet they have always priced their dishes as if it were wholesome fresh vegan food. Service was always slow, staff untrained and owners unprofessional using the cafe tabkes as their office, chatting ground, etc. The only reason we supported it was that it was vegan, so we made the effort to visit every now and again.
They started serving meat last month, a change they marketed as being more inclusive!!! They never acknowledged the betrayal and hurt caused to their faithful vegan customers and on the contrary went on a victimising campaign, censoring any negative comment or review on their social media and elsewhere. Their stance and business was never ethical, they tried to ride the vegan trend and then changed their minds.
Not sure it should still be advertised on here but they still harbour vegan logos on their door despite selling corpses.

I had a lovely trip to Prana cafe today after a successful visit to the GUM clinic. I had an omelette and cup of tea brunch here whilst I mulled over buying a bike helmet to protect my b-12 devoid brain.

The cafe is in a lovely setting; a grade II listed building with high ceilings. This gives the place a regal but slightly cavernous feel which isn’t cosy but is comfortable. The atmosphere is greatly helped by the staff who are friendly and give excellent service.

I had a tasty omelette, which I really liked, it came with some fairly characterless toast but overall really enjoyed my visit. There is a good selection of cakes and food for someone of veganese persuasion.
