Overpriced, poor choice

No separate vegan menu when we visited. Nice platter of vegetarian starters. However, the betroot and mushroom burger was literally two fried mushrooms with some slices of betroot between with a few fries on the side. Porcini risotto was ok, but a but sloppy. And those are the sum total of the veg options. Pub food at Bistro prices with indifferent service. No one bothered to check if the food was ok at any point. And they add a 'voluntary' service charge of 12% automatically to the bill.

Pros: One nice veggie starter

Cons: No real vegan options, Poor service, Overpriced

Great service, separate, small vegan menu

Visited in April 2018, very happy to see a vegan menu with 2 options for starter, 2 for main and one dessert- all seemed imaginative and not the run of the mill vegan stuff. The mushroom and beetroot burger wasn't so much of a burger as a stack, but still ok, The triple cooked chips are amazing! Good wine , attentive , understanding staff, and worth a visit :)

Pros: Good staff service, separate, though small vegan menu, good atmosphere
