Great vegan Thai! - Edit
Really great vegan Thai food! If you’re adventurous, try the vegan duck as your protein choice - you can thank me later.

Best Thai in SD! - Edit
Love this place... service is great, presentation is beautiful and the food is so delicious! So much flavor! The satay chicken is soooooo good!! It seems the only thing that’s keeping it from being fully vegan is that they serve eggs but their staff are very knowledgeable with everything that’s vegan!

That review (Best Thai in SD!) is just TOO WEIRD for Happy Cow. "loved the chicken"? (which isn't vegan chicken). Be warned, Plumeria is NOT a vegan restaurant, so don't get the satay chicken! That said, their Vegan marked dishes are surprisingly good, flavorful, and numerous - a really good Vegan choice in Encinitas.

It actually is fully vegan, they have stopped serving eggs and the satay “chicken” is vegan

Great - Edit
My Pumpkin Curry was wonderful, and I usually don't love Pumpkin Curries. I was recommended to try it by the enthusiastic waiter, and he was spot on (He recommend I get it with the mock chicken - that was a good call as well). Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Great variety, all delicious - Edit
Great to eat Thai food without having to ask about fish in sauces, etc. The appetizer platter is excellent and perfect for two, lots of variety. Pad See Iw and a few other dishes are clearly marked as having egg, which can be omitted; otherwise everything is vegan (except desserts; some but not all are vegan). Everything we had was delicious and we'll be back to work our way through the menu!

The Restaurant Encinitas needed! - Edit
I was beyond excited when Plumeria expanded up to Encinitas. The food is always full of flavor! If a dish on the menu isn’t already vegan, it’s just a quick adaption. Non veg friends and family are fans as well and can’t believe how tasty it is. It’s amazing to have a Thai place in downtown Encinitas, especially because it is so GOOD!!

Good - Edit
This is the sister to plumeria, I tried the larb it was similar but i feel plumeria is still better. Although plum had a larger portion of larb. Prices are comparable to plumeria. Dishes are $$, I would say around $10 for a plate.

Excellent Thai food - Edit
I’m so happy Plum is in encinitas. The entire menu is vegetarian and tons of different dishes to choose from. The vegetable yellow curry is delicious. Fresh spring rolls were amazing. Spicy basil vegetable fried rice was delicious too. Great service and cute place.
