Great variety, all delicious - Edit
Great to eat Thai food without having to ask about fish in sauces, etc. The appetizer platter is excellent and perfect for two, lots of variety. Pad See Iw and a few other dishes are clearly marked as having egg, which can be omitted; otherwise everything is vegan (except desserts; some but not all are vegan). Everything we had was delicious and we'll be back to work our way through the menu!

Tasty all vegetarian Thai food in the heart of Encinitas - Edit
Location is right in the heart of downtown Encinitas.
Read moreFriendly staff work here. Casual and simple dining indoors or outdoor seating. I went with the pumpkin curry with steamed tofu and brown rice that came shaped like a heart. Ample portions. It came medium heat by default and had a good amount of heat yet not overbearing. I added a touch of the made in house chili oil yet proceed with caution as a little goes a long way since this packs some serious heat.
Flavorful curry with plenty of veggies. I really enjoyed my meal here and recommend coming here!
Pros: friendly staff, tasty cuisine, all vegetarian and mostly vegan

So great! - Edit
Plumeria is my go to Encinitas place they are basically completely vegan and everyone there is so kind and friendly. Not to mention the food is delicious! I highly recommend the fresh spring rolls, samosas, taro tea with boba, larb salad (I get it with tofu), spicy noodles, ka pow, and mango stick rice. The price of everything is totally affordable and the portions are rather large. The interior is so pretty with pictures of Thailand and traditional Thai decor. It is an amazing place to go and I highly recommend it!

Great vegan options! Friendly staff - Edit
We went twice. Surprised with all the options and the portion sizes. Make sure you go hungry😄first time we found the food better but the second time was still good. I don’t remember what I had but I would definitely go back when I have a chance. I like the variety and color of the plates. The menu had clear vegan labels, too.

Not too bad - Edit
The Thai Iced Tea is delicious, the egg rolls are so-so (crunchy, but not alot of flavor), the Tom Yum soup was pretty good, and we're happy with the small size portion option. Final dish was the Spicy Noodles which was like an 8/10, definitely spicy, but not too much flavor. Happy this place exists and has so many options.

Vegetarian restaurant with vegan options - Edit
This is a VEGETARIAN restaurant with many vegan options.
Read moreMy most absolute favorite is the spicy Pad See Ew noodle. The mock chicken gets so real, I have to double check is vegan.
I love their delicious vegan options and love it’s stress free because the eggs are optional, but watch out for traditional ice cream and desserts on the menu. They have dairy and some have eggs.

Absolutely the best Thai food ever! - Edit
This is the absolute best vegan Thai food restaurant I've ever eaten at. I live in the Bay Area and we have nothing that comes compared to this fabulous place. It feels as though it's good is cooked with love and light. We had the Tom Kah soup which was absolutely fabulous, we had the satay chicken, which I could not believe wasn't real meat. We then got the tangerine chicken and the Rama which we absolutely devoured. And my mother who isn't plant based like myself absolutely loved it. The Thai tea with coconut milk too was scrumptious. Please if you are in this area, take a visit here. I will gladly fly from San Francisco to here just to eat. 10000000/10

Love Plumeria.
Read moreThe menu is packed with deliciuos vegan options. By the way, they are vegetarian, not vegan. The majority of the menu is vegan.
If you love Thai food, try your favorites. I always love any dish with eggplant. We also ordered the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce.
And of course vegan Thai tea!
The staff is perfect. Kind, super helpful with the menu.

Excellent - Edit
Impressive menu with many protein options including veg chicken, duck and jackfruit. I had the pad see ew with duck. It was a good amount of food, not at all greasy and very tasty. I was glad that I ended up not getting a starter, which seemed quite pricey, given the quantity of the entree.

My favorite vegan Thai food - Edit
I was reminded to hop onto HappyCow and post about Plumeria, because I was telling my friend that if she eats anywhere in Encinitas, she should go to Plumeria. It's literally the best Thai I've ever had, and everyone's super nice.

Delicious food, friendly server - Edit
I got the spicy basil with faux chicken and brown rice. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the veggies were steamed just right. Plus, the sauce was delicious. My three companions also loved their dishes. The best part was the server, who was super friendly and helpful. And we’re pretty sure he was wearing a Guy Fieri wig and visor, which is hilarious!

Super filling and vegan desserts! - Edit
The appetizer was light and wasnt crunchy as i expected but came with 2 different sauces, one tasted like mango and the other was creamier and nutty. If it wasnt for the sauces, i probably wouldnt order again

The dessert was sooooo good i would come back for this absolutely, crunchy wrapper with sweet agave and warm soft banana on inside 🤤 #Veganuary

Best Thai outside of Thailand - Edit
I had heard there were several vegetarian Thai restaurants in San Diego so I am eager to try them all. Plumeria is my favorite. Unusual and different Thai dishes make it exciting and the standar dishes are exceptional. I enjoyed the spicy noodles, the broccoli stir fry and a bean sprout and mushroom dish. A must visit place for sure.
