Playa 5 offered an okay range of vegan options. I got the vegan burger and wedges (number 92 on the menu). They also offer pizzas, and a ‘wok fried’ option of noodles or rice with veg. This is my first meal in Paguera, and I wasn’t disappointed- it’s hard to go wrong with a beyond meat burger but it was lovely and the staff were great. Would recommend and will revisit!
Read moreNot too relevant but the Only reason I wouldn’t give 5* is because my group also included meat eaters and their chicken was undercooked I’m not 100% sure if the sauces were vegan.. if you don’t want to take the risk then I’d recommend ordering the burger WITHOUT bbq sauce

Would not recommend for vegans - Edit
Has a vegan beyond burger on the menu labeled as vegan on the menu, when ordered and specified as vegan the burger came with Mayo. When asked the waitress took the plate then assured everything was vegan 100% I began to eat the burger and then she came back again and told me it’s ‘vegan meat’ and as as a vegan I should know these things. I explained I was checking if it was vegan Mayo and she then left and only came back when we asked for the bill. Seems the vegan options on the menu are not really vegan definitely served with non vegan Mayo also now I’m skeptical if the bun also was vegan. Plus extremely long wait times and overall not great vibes. Would not recommend.

Vegane Optionen - nicht wirklich - Edit
Wir waren da an unserem ersten Tag in Paguera und ja, es gibt vegane Optionen, allerdings nicht so, dass sich da jemand wirklich Gedanken gemacht hätte. Das Personal scheint auch recht überfordert und ahnungslos zu sein, z.B. bei der simplen Frage, ob das Dressing zum normalen Salat vegan sei gab es keine eindeutige Auskunft. Die Vegane Pizza haben wir gegessen und es war nunmal einfach Pizzateig mit Tomatensoße und etwas Gemüse - das bekommt man überall, wenn man einfach darum bittet den Käse weg zu lassen. Dazu war die Pizza selbst auch eher mäßig, Oben war alles noch halb roh und unten schon sehr dunkel.
Read moreEs gibt noch einen veganen Burger. Kann sein, dass der gut ist - jedoch gibt die Karte keinerlei Auskunft darüber, was nun konkret auf dem Burger ist. Da steht "Salat, Tomate, Gurken,...". Im Vergleich zu den anderen Produktbeschreibungen könnte man denken, dass das alles ist was drauf ist. Nachfrage wollten wir nach der ersten Frage bzgl Dressing nicht mehr und die wir wollten ohnehin die Pizza.
Es gibt bessere Anlaufstellen für vegane Gerichte in Paguera.
