We had a lovely breakfast this morning at Playa Detox. Cute spot, friendly service. Sat outside by igaro Blanco (150 year old tree) First off we shared some hummus and fresh crunchy seedy tostada chips. I had the enchiladas verdes filled with fresh avocado and a green smoothie. My husband and son enjoyed their verde and Rojo chiliquiles and smoothies. We will plan to cone again on our next PV visit.

We had the red chilaquiles and the hotcakes; both were very good. The service was great and friendly. We will definitely come back and try something else. The only downside was that we sat at one of the two tables outside and smokers kept coming right in front of us and stink out the air; next time, we’ll sit inside.

Came back to Playa Detox today but this time for lunch. Once again, it was excellent. Our waiter, Augustin was was most welcoming, polite, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable…. The food was delicious and well presented. After 2 visits within the week, I gotta give it top marks. And yes, I will come back before heading back home in a couple of weeks.

You simply can’t go wrong with Playa Detox. This time, I had the Playa Burger 🍔 and my wife had the ceviche (for a second time); combined with the agua del dia, it was a perfect and delicious lunch. Gracias Augustin y Playa Detox. 😋

The food. Obviously the FOOD! But we also loved the pet friendly vibe as well as the preservation of nature. If you pay attention you can see that one window or part of the building was built around the beautiful large tree that sits in front of this sweet spot.

I enjoy going to Playa Detox. Their playa burger is probably the best vegan burger in Vallarta (that is not beyond meat). Everything else is okay. I would say other foods need a little more flavor.

Came here and was pleasantly surprised with the environments. It’s well developed and nice hangout spot. Menu had many options and are all vegan. Food arrived and was somewhat dissatisfied with the taste. It really lacks flavor and needs improvement on this area. Burger was pretty good but el pastor tacos really don’t taste well.

Too expensive for what they serve. The are is not a very turístic place for what they charge. Quality of food is average or below. UPDATE: I have tried this place around 3 more times after my last review and every time I try it gets worse and worse, to the point that I was served green enchiladas with a very acid flavor and they needed to replace them for red enchiladas. The flavors are generally very strange and they do not represent tasty Mexican dishes. I am not trying this place ever again since my last visit.

The food tastes weird. We had pastor tacos (the taste was unfortunately really bad), Avocado sandwich was fine (but it was mixed up with tuna sandwich) and enchiladas which also tasted a bit weird and random in flavor.
