Plantxology - Edit
I had the mixed plate and it was OK. It was very oily and the flavor was a little bland. I was wishing I had a packet of salt because I think that could have made a big difference. Nice staff and stall. I just probably won’t be back because of all the oil. I can get around the flavor by adding salt, but I can’t remove the oil and you can see pools of it in the food at the stalls. 3.5 stars.

Hello, thank you for making us aware and sorry the dishes were too oily on that occassion.
Read moreWe're paying lots of attention to keep the level of oil to the minimum as it is required to prepare the curry and I agree too much is no good.
We'll speak to our team and make them aware of the feedback.
We hope we can make it up to you next time you're in Brick Lane.

Vegan Indian street food stand on Brick Lane market at the weekends. You will smell this stand before you see it, the aroma was mouthwateringly good! The chick’n tikka was creamy with just the right amount of heat. The pani puri looked amazing too.

Best Indian Style Tofu - Edit
We had the thali and the tofu wrap. I've eaten a lot of tofu, and a lot of Indian food, and this was the perfect marriage of the two, with a crispy, complexly flavoured outer shell, with a soft almost fish-like centre.
Read moreI've seen the vegan options at a fair number of Indian food stalls simply offer standard fare of dishes which are traditionally vegetarian anyway, but very few doing legitimately great protein-rich substitutes of traditionally non-veg items, but the keema and the (meaty) tofu here were outstanding.
I can't wait to return and see what they are serving next time as I believe the menu frequently has additions.
My advice to the people running the stall would be keep doing what you're doing!
