Stopped in with my family and everyone loved their meal. Chicken & waffles for the kids- pre made ingredients but yummy and well done! I had the butter chicken and it was a great portion and hot/fresh. We will stop in again soon to try the breakfast stuff😄

Lovely place, great food - Edit
The restaurant interior is lovely, and the garden looks so inviting. Unfortunately it was raining today, but I'll be back to sit outside one day. The food was great, even my carnivore friend loved it. So many options, especially for a small town. I feel like they really put thought into the menu so it wasn't just the same old vegan restaurant. The dishes all had little detailed touches that I find are missing in some restaurants. This place deserves more recognition for standing out. Watch out, Meet!

Really good meal - Edit
A great little vegan restaurant in a little town. Definitely a place to go out of your way to. I had the chicken parmigiana, and the people with me had the mushroom risotto and the lemongrass chicken bowl and everyone loved their meals.

Fabulous - Edit
Update: we came here for brunch, and I found the quality of the food to have dropped slightly since our first visit a few years ago. Perhaps a change of management? Or kitchen staff? Or maybe we just got unlucky that day ... everything was still good, and we finished our meals, but it wasn't "WOW 5 STARS" as the first time, and considering we paid over $100 with tip and 2 baked goods for a 2 person brunch, I was expecting another 5 star meal.
Read moreSo thankful to find this 100% vegan restaurant! There is not much choice on Vancouver Island when it comes to vegan food and eating out, with other options being more cafe style, lacking extensive menus and ambience. Plantitude has a big menu packed with lots of variety and deliciousness, and no worries about their being any animal products anywhere! We had the prawnz (my first time trying these) with garlic butter, the chickn' and bacun burger with ceaser salad, the better brat, and 2 desserts and we loved every single bite. Generous portions too!

We stopped here on our way to Youbou and were happily surprised to find out that Ladysmith had a vegan restaurant. I got the grilled Roma sandwich and my husband got the BLT. Both were really tasty. We got a soup and salad to go with it and those were also good. Delicious dressing on the salad. Will definitely be back when we come to the Island.

Best dining experience - Edit
The food was absolutely incredible, every dish was stunning. We had the white wine prawns, chicken Parm and burger as well as a few drinks. Everything was fantastic. The service was also perfect. The two lovely waitresses brought treats and a blanket for my dog (on the patio of course) and made sure he's comfortable.

The almondaise sauce they use on the Benny is TOP TIER. I honestly don’t know if I’ve had better brunch in the 7? 8? Years of being vegan! Also, the fruit salad was so fresh! Amazing! Can’t wait to come back!! 💕

Menu with Many Great Choices - Edit
Plantitude is a table service restaurant with a menu featuring brunch and lunch options. I tried the spicy lemongrass chikin and veg bowl. It was a very good-sized serving, but I would have liked a bit more vegetables and chikin, which had great lemongrass flavor, and less brown rice. It certainly isn't spicy, but the flavors were good. Looking forward to trying some of their more adventurous bunch options sometime soon.

Largely positive - Edit
We stopped in here for take out on our way up-island. The service was friendly and the environment was reasonable - there is quite a lot of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Most of what we ordered was very good - a spicy tomato and veg soup I enjoyed, the potato skins (complete with in-house sour cream) were excellent and my daughter liked the mini cupcake. The one oddity was the caeser salad and I wonder if it was a mistake. We ordered a large one and were completely startled when we opened the box later to eat it to find two whole heads of romaine lettuce with dressing drizzled on them - not cut up at all. Very odd. I'm marking it down a little for now but will revisit at some point and hope to be able to adjust based on a more complete dining experience.

Delicious French Toast - Edit
Since becoming vegan I don't miss much, but french toast is one thing I have not been able to simulate. Plantitude has figured it out, it was delicious. Good size portions with many options. After lunch we were full but couldn't resist all the dessert options offered. Service was a little slow but we were warned about this ahead of time on their website.

Delicious vegan meals, treats and drinks - Edit
My first time at Plantitude! I bought a couple of menu items to take away, plus two treats (mocha cupcake and oat-fudge bar), but first sat on the pleasant, shaded patio and enjoyed a mocktail, white bean soup and mac-n-cheese served with salad. Delicious mac-n-cheese! Scrumptious artichoke cakes with corn salsa! There is a comprehensive alcoholic drinks menu.
