Best - Edit
Planta is an amazing restaurant with 10 locations in Canada and the US, and this one is an absolute gem on South Beach.
Read moreThe decor is lovely and the restaurant itself is very spacious, we went for a later lunch at 2pm and there weren't too many people but they began trickling in as we left.
The food we had was perhaps the best food we had all weekend in south beach (including the non-vegan meals, according to my partner).
Their lunch special was 28usd and let you order an app and a main, and included the best cookie I've ever eaten. They also had a Miami Spice menu that we didn't order from.
I would definitely return to try more of the delicious food.
Definitely try their tartar, it was immaculate.
Pros: Tasty, Cute space, Decent pricing

Planta: A Vegan Restaurant That Will Blow Your Mind - Edit
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Planta, and we were absolutely blown away by the food. The menu is full of innovative and delicious vegan dishes, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. We started the meal with the rainbow roll sushi, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ceviche was also amazing. For our main course, we had the bang bang broccoli, which was perfectly cooked and coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. The chick'n mushrooms were also a hit, and the spicy chorizo pizza was one of the best pizzas we've ever had.
Read moreFor dessert, we had the banoffee pie and the olive oil cake. Both were incredibly rich and decadent, and the perfect way to end our meal.
The service at Planta was also excellent. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Planta. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great vegan dining experience.

SO. GOOODDDD. - Edit
I was on a solo trip to Miami a few months ago and was having mediocre food and server experiences until I came to Planta! I had the best food, the best service, and drinks were strong! The first night I came I got the bang bang broccoli (incredible) and the Udon noodles, mezcal cocktail (strong af I had to nurse it all night lol) and a brownie for desert. My server was also friendly and attentive which I had not had up until that point. I enjoyed myself so much I came back the next night and got the spicy lumaconi pasta, a glass of wine, and the cookie for desert. In regards to the prices, I’m from Alaska so the prices didn’t bother me. I’ve a trip to DC coming up and I’ll def be stopping by the Planta while there!

Lots of great vegan food but expensive! - Edit
Food was very innovative and delicious. They had a watermelon sashimi that had the texture of real sashimi. I couldn’t get over it. Food was delicious but quite pricey.

Another planta that has stole my heart through their amazing vegan food and wonderful vibes. Highly recommend the “chicken” mushroom bites. Lettuce wraps were build your own and so tasty. The pizza and brownie are my go to favorites at any location.

High ceilings and a wall of windows makes Planta a welcoming place - Edit
I knew about Planta from NYC so hitting it up in South Beach was a no-brainer. I love the open space of this location, with its high ceilings and wall of windows. It made the place feel fresh and welcoming. It felt nice to bring my mom and sister whom I rarely get a chance to go out with.
Read moreWe got the:
- Bang bang broccoli
- Bake crabbed roll sushi
- Crispy rice sushi
- Udon Noodles
- Sweet pea Genovese
- Banoffee
- Rhubarb pie
The broccoli is a must for a Planta experience. The star though was the Genovese. Loved the herbaceous peas, perfectly cooked on a delicious dish. For me, one of the simple joys of dining at a fully vegan restaurant with others is that the meal is truly shared. We all get to taste every dish. I always appreciate the opportunity of trying a dish I wouldn’t normally get and being pleasantly surprised. And to experience that with my mom and sister on one of our last dinners in Miami was a nice cap to our trip.

World class food options- service needs improvement - Edit
Monday unlimited sushi, amazing creative options, we were blowed away by the different options in maki sashimi and the nigiri with eggplant truffles is to die for. The service wasn’t to the level of the food or the price. Desert arrived before we finished the sushis and the check was dropped , kind of making us feel like it’s time to go. Would recommend the place anyway for the amazingness of their food.

Upscale + Good - Edit
I loved the upscale atmosphere of Planta and that their menu is whole foods plant based! I haven’t been to many upscale vegan restaurants as they seem to be few and far between so I enjoyed having that experience💗 My favorites were the Thai Lettuce Wraps and the Spaghetti Carbonara!!!! Those were both *chefs kiss* We also had the Planta Burger (was earthy and tasted okay, but wouldn’t order again), the Bang Bang Broccoli (my family absolutely LOVED this), and the Chik’n Fried Mushrooms that were light, tender and crunchy, but not seasoned well enough in my opinion
Read moreFor sweets they had sold out of their cake, so we had their cheesecake, soft serve ice cream, and the Sunday Morning Cartoons Mocktail. The latter two of which lacked flavor and mostly just tasted like lightly sweetened, watered-down coconut milk for me, but we all liked the cheesecake!
I’m looking forward to coming back to try their sushi (which I think may be their strong suit) and pizzas

Really lovely and unique experience. Great sushi, broccoli, and pad thai - dishes that have been done elsewhere but not with this level of attention to detail to create a perfect experience within each dish. Worth the hype, and the money.

Delicious and high-quality! - Edit
Been here twice, once for lunch and on my birthday for brunch, and both times were very yummy! All of the sushi is amazing, each of my friends had a favorite. Two of my friends loved the dragon roll the best, my best friend loved the spicy tuna roll the best (it's not spicy! Only the side sauces are), and I loved the Rainbow roll the best. They have a unique and delicious take on Hawaiian pizza and my boyfriend said the spaghettini carbonara was the best spaghetti he's ever had, but the burger is pretty basic, and I was not at all impressed by the bao sliders. The dumplings and croquetas are just ok. For brunch, if there was a little more powdered sugar on them, the french toast would be perfection! The cinnamon bun is wonderful, and I enjoyed the chorizo quesadilla but not sure if I'd order it again. The big warm cookie and drinks was all good as well! The place is very pretty inside, but not very warm and welcoming. It feels like no matter how many times you go there, you'll never be special. I'm not super impressed by the service, and I am disappointed the only thing they do for birthdays is provide a candle if I buy a dessert. Street parking is pretty easy on the weekdays, but on weekends, you'll be lucky to find metered parking close by for $2.35 an hour after a few times around the block, or else you'll be stuck paying for expensive $25 valet parking. Overall, this is definitely a place worth visiting for high-quality vegan food.

Amazing vegan food - Edit
Wow! Planta is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Miami. This is a great place to bring non-vegans; the flavors and textures are so satisfying, they won’t miss the meat and dairy. It’s definitely worth a visit, especially on Maki Mondays (8$ maki rolls or 27$ unlimited maki) - you must get the baked crab roll and crispy rice with ahi watermelon. The truffle udon is a must-have as well; it was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. The vibe is hip and welcoming, and the restaurant is well-located in South Beach. The menu is extensive and creative, with many Asian fusion touches - I would’ve loved to try every item on the menu if I had enough space in my stomach!

Skinny Legend Food - Edit
This is an upscale, sexy establishment. Don’t expect to get full, eat slow, and savor every bite. The Croquetas are divine, having a rich, smokey flavor profile. The Diavola pizza was also a highlight. The combo of Fennel and Farro really stood out in the most delicious way. I really felt like I had a memorable experience at Planta. Beautiful restaurant.

Must try plant based resultant in South Beach - Edit
Loved everything!!! Atmosphere, decor, service, and especially the food!! I’m glad I came to this location because o heard planta queen is really only sushi and at this one they had a large menu with many different options. I tried the watermelon sushi, I think the California rolls, mushroom(must get) they were on the menu as chick n mushrooms and I almost thought it was going to mushrooms with fake chicken and I hate fake chicken but it was oyster mushrooms and they were delicious!, we also had the eggplant and the Cesar salad 😋 #Veganuary

Delicious fine vegan dining - Edit
So good! The menu was pleasantly overwhelming with all of its choices! I ordered the spaghetti all carbonara which was super tasty with it's creamy flavor and mushroom bacon!
Read moreThe ahi sushi is nice novelty in that it seems like raw tuna in appearance and texture but it really has no flavor except for from the ginger that tops it.
Pros: So many vegan options that it was hard to decide! , Server showed food pictures when I had question
Cons: Expensive, expected for this upscale place. , Ahi Tuna is a nice illusion with no flavor.

Great service, nice atmosphere, and tasty food. - Edit
The food and cocktails were very good here. We went on Maki Mondays where Maki rolls were half off ($8) or all you can eat. We wanted to try the pizza (quite tasty and a decent size) so we didn't try all the maki, but the pressed avocado, miso, and truffle maki, and the crispy rice, avocado, and ahi watermelon were delicious, albeit the smallest maki I've ever seen. I would have been unhappy if I had to pay full price ($16.75) for this, so I'm glad I didn't! They make delicious cocktails too and the servers were really good. 4.5 stars

Planta sushi is elite! - Edit
My expectations were high but I was not disappointed!! This was the one place I knew I 100% HAD to try when I went to Miami. We tried the croquetas, crispy rice, torched and pressed roll and truffle scramble. They also have bottomless mimosas for brunch. After being seated, ordering food, and sitting there for 20 minutes I did have a weird interaction with a food runner over the dress code (no dress code is noted on their website btw) but the managers apologized numerous times and made it up to us. The food was absolutely delicious, I would definitely go back!
