Get some vibes - Edit
Five stars! A wide and interesting menu, great coffee and excellent food.
Read moreI enjoyed a scrambled tofu filled croissant while my partner had the apple crumble french toast. Both were exceptional. Coffees were really great. Service was wonderful. The ambience, although a little noisy, was warm and welcoming. It had a great vibe!

Best vegan cafe in Brisbane - Edit
Possibly the best vegan cafe anywhere! Everything I’ve tried off the menu has been amazing. So much variety, I’ve never been disappointed trying something new. Great selection of sweets and cabinet food too. Plus an awesome drinks menu including cocktails.

Cute place & nice food - Edit
Finally got around to trying this place. For anyone worried about parking, if you go on a weekend it’s free for up to 3 hours at the nearby King St parking centre 🤙🏼
Read moreThis spot is deceptively spacious on the inside, when we arrived there were people waiting around outside which we thought meant it was full. But there were plenty of free tables in the upstairs bit once we headed inside - a bit stuffy though!
Tried the breakfast croissant and the big brekky. The food took a little while to come out and also wasn’t very hot on arrival. But the flavours were nice, I loved the super light and fluffy tofu scram. Some more tomato relish would’ve been good as I couldn’t really taste it. But the croissant was nice and flaky! The big breakfast wasn’t that big, my bf has an appetite and was still hungry afterwards.
I’m keen to try some other stuff so will be back some time.
Pros: delicious tofu scramble, cute space
Cons: a little hot and stuffy inside, portions could be bigger for the price

Fresh, generous meals! - Edit
The breakfast croissant with tofu scramble, avo, mushroom and potato ball is amazing…very big portions! I took half mine home for lunch! The coffee cannot fault. We loved the croissant so much that on the way out we ordered two plain ones to take home. The staff were friendly and sitting inside upstairs was lovely. Highly recommend breakfast here.

Cute and airy café - Edit
Ordered the tacos, truffle toasty and the big breakfast. The toasty was definitely the highlight and was very crunchy, moist and tasty. The tacos used the Fable brand pulled shiitake mushroom and had a delicious chipotle mayo. Big breakfast was nice and the hollandaise sauce was the best part.
Read morePros: Lots of delicious dishes to choose from, Vegan croissants, slices, cakes and filled donuts, Nice decor and friendly staff

Best coffee of my life. - Edit
Had their brewed coffee yesterday, dreamt about it and now I’m back today. I’m a little concerned that I’m developing an addiction but I’m happy to go down this path even if I end up being ostracised by my friends and family. Worth it.

Best vegan breakfast in town - Edit
TL;DR Food is amazing and I see what they are trying to go for with the vibe. I recommend eating here but leave the good boys and girls at home for a more pleasant dining experience inside.
Read moreJust had breakfast here with my partner. First of all, everything we ordered was 5 out of 5. Unfortunately the “vibe” wasn’t.
We brought our dog along with us as their Instagram mentions they have outside seating for dog owners. Awesome! Come on Charlie Boy it’s breakfast time!
When we arrived we saw that the outside seating was a single table on the footpath, fairly standard placement for a cafe, but Brookes street is quite busy and the passing traffic did not compliment our meal well.
Also, the footpath is on slant which made the table wonky until I wound down one of the adjustable feet to make it level.
Halfway through our meal a lady in the premises next door started hosing out a bin and the resulting water run off made its way under our table (narrowly missing our good boy). One of the staff noticed this as she came out to our table and poked her head around the corner to investigate the source of the bin-water stream; when she realised, she apologised to us but didn’t offer to move our table. Oh well, not her fault I s’pose.
It looks like it would be nicer to sit inside and there are plenty of pothos hanging around the place, but overall I’d say that the interior is lacking in the flora department for a place called Plant Vibes (I do understand that it probably refers to the cuisine, but still).

Best mocha and fantastic Mexi bowl! - Edit
Spotted this gem of a cafe randomly as I was driving by and so glad I stopped. Love the decor and vibes here. I was served by a delightful staff member who made me the best mochaccino I’ve ever had. I opted for the Mexi Bowl and was not disappointed. I love that the nacho chips were home made and not out of a packet. The sweets cabinet was very enticing and I’m yet to try the banana I bought fir afters

Plant Vibes nails the vibe - Edit
Plant Vibes is an incredibly stylish café and a great place to enjoy your food. The menu is broad and offers vegan versions of a lot of harder to vegan use foods.
Read moreWe had the Pumpkin toastie and the Açai bowl. The pumpkin toastie was good, and with “cheese” that actually melts like Swiss cheese it had a nice texture. The Açai bowl was a little bit disappointing. The flavour was great, but the actual Açai part of the bowl was way runnier than you’d expect.
Pros: Big vegan menu, Veganised everything, Stylish
Cons: A bit expensive

Excellent vegan food. New place to check out! - Edit
Came here for breakfast and was very impressed. Cool little place on 2 levels. Interesting and varied vegan menu. I had the breakfast croissant with scrambled tofu and mushroom. It was excellent. Good coffee too. The on line ordering works well too but you can also order at the counter. I will be coming back!

A must-visit! - Edit
Always keen to try out and support new vegan places, I came here as soon as I heard about it and was not disappointed! The interior design has been so clearly thought out and very much has all the pastel pink 'instagrammable' vibes - it's beautiful! I ordered the 'enoki gnocchi' which was sensational!! It wasn't an overly generous portion but every bite was delicious. Despite being a trek from where I live, I will definitely be coming here again! I think this business will do very well with vegans and carnivores alike!

Cons: Slightly $$ for the portion size - but worth it, Parking nearby is all metered.
