It’s nice to have fast food options! - Edit
We’ve been to Plant Power locations here and San Diego. We’ve brought non vegans and they enjoyed it! I’m not a big burger person (never have been), but I like to order the iconic fries without sauce and a chocolate shake when I get a craving for those nostalgic flavors from childhood like in-n-out.

Fast Food - Edit
My husband and I came to try this place out. He ordered the Big Zac combo (with iconic fries) and I ordered the Southwest Avocado Wrap. I really enjoyed my wrap but I think it needed to have more avocado (it’s in the name) other than that no complaints. The iconic fries which includes grilled onions, cheese, and secret sauce were really good. I recommend. My husband liked his burger and said he would substitute any day for the other burger that shall not be named. Parking was a little crazy because of the setup. I would come back for more.

Grateful for plant power, but too pricey for what you get. - Edit
Don’t get me wrong, I’m so grateful that vegans now have access to fast food! My meal was good. However, fast food is supposed to be reasonably priced, right? That’s just not the case here. The staff were super friendly. The fries were epic.

Decent - Edit
For me it wasn’t worth the price, or the calories, I’d rather just eat something else. However, it fits in the category to appeal to the messy, greasy, and kind of crappy-tasting fast food crowd. I got the buffalo bomber which was a “made in-house item” vs frozen, and it was decent. Fries were good. My family got some regular burgers and nuggets, but they weren’t great. The nuggets need sauce or they don’t taste like much.

The best vegan fast food - Edit
You can’t really go wrong at Plant Power. I’ve been to all their locations (even Redlands) and am so happy to have one about two miles from home. The Buffalo 66 and the Big Zac are my go-tos, but the southwest wrap is delicous as well!

BEST soft serve - Edit
We usually don't go out of where we live to eat vegan food. But this time it was a vegan meetup so we drove about 30 miles to Long Beach. We were surprised there were a few parking spots when we got there (early)..ha ha...
Read moreThe meet up was done on the patio outside which was nice but a bit noisy. It was a pleasant summer night and we thoroughly enjoyed the weather.
I ordered 'chicken' wrap side salad and hubby ordered the burger, fries, and chocolate shake. They were yummy. Hubby said the shake was really good.
After dinner, I gave in and ordered soft serve with strawberry syrup. Yuummmm! I think it was the BEST vegan soft serve. We remembered visiting the location at Ocean Beach and had soft serve and it was as good as this one. Then we remembered visiting Encinitas location and had their soft serve and it was awful. So I really took a gamble and tried it at this location. It paid off. The soft serve here is exquisite. I had no idea what happened in Encinitas then. I hope they took the recipe from Long Beach and apply it there.
The prices are also reasonable.
We will be back!!!
Pros: Soft serve is best, Reasonable prices , Good variety of food offerings
Cons: Far from home, Street noise when dining in patio, Parking is small

Best fast food style breakfast! - Edit
My husband and I decided to try this place out for breakfast and I usually don’t like mock meat or eggs but this place did it right!! I had the sausage egg and cheese muffin with a salted caramel milkshake and he had the breakfast burrito. 😊 We can’t wait to take our niece and nephew here for a burger and chicken nuggets for lunch!

Classic Taste Without the Death! - Edit
Totally satisfies the fast food craving. It has that yummy classic taste without the rotten meat smell! Pretty high quality for being fast food! Yummy secret sauce, everything 😍 5/5 no doubt. Pricey though! Hopefully it will come down over time. Nice outside seating at night:)

Best Fast Food Ever - Edit
It’s exactly what it sounds like! Your everyday fast food stop turned vegan! Burgers, chicken nuggets/tenders, wraps, desserts, iconic fries that are just like in n out animal style fries, etc! They have so many options and they have amazing sauces to try with every item. My personal favorite is the barbecue! And it’s fun to go every month and try the limited milkshake flavor they offer. So far I’ve had the cookie butter, pistachio, orange creamsicle, and salted caramel limited flavors and they were all amazing! The strawberry milkshake is a regular item and that’s my favorite milkshake that is always on the menu. The nuggets are so comparable to your everyday fast food chain that even my non vegan friends couldn’t tell the difference when I shared with them! There is something here for everyone even non vegans!

Great new addition! - Edit
Happy to see they have FINALLY opened. After many construction delays, PPFF LBC has finally opened and it looks like so far it’s been a big hit! The menu has all the familiar favorites from the San Diego locations like the Big Zac, the shakes and Chik’n Nuggs. You can get breakfast between 7am and 11am daily. I remember visiting the SD location a few years back and remember mini corn dogs and some other items that I think are gone from all locations now. The current menu is burger heavy with several vegan burgers available but you can probably still find something for everyone on the menu.
Read moreThe location like most places in Long Beach does not have the best parking situation. It will be interesting to see how the drive thru will affect the limited parking due to the overall limited real estate. It’s a nice problem to have though because a busy parking lot means they’re doing good business!
Staff was very friendly and efficient. Very busy and long line but the cashiers work quickly and the food comes out quickly as well, as you would expect from “fast food”.
Some things to note: They seem to sort of be in a soft launch mode right now so no phone orders currently, the drive thru is not up and running yet and remember the hours for breakfast.
*Update* When I ordered the large tenders and 16 piece Nugs on my first visit, I was given 3 sauces. When I can back a few days later and placed the same order I was only offered 2 and would be charged for any extra. I know it’s not a huge deal but one pet peeve of mine is inconsistency.
*Update Update*
Upon receiving the order, they actually DID give 3 but did not let me choose the 3rd like the first time. Again just a little nit picky, but I’ll chalk it up to them still being new.
Pros: Solid fast food menu of recognizable items, Fast, friendly, service, Good seating, indoors and out
Cons: Parking can be a struggle, No online, phone or tablet ordering yet, Extra charge for sauces even on large orders

Yummy The Future - Edit
A neon sign says: « The Future Of Fast Food » inside the Long Beach location of this already legendary mini-chain of Vegan spins on the landmarks and staples of our food land gone mad. ‘Fish’ Filet Sandwich, Big Zac, ‘Chicken’ nuggets, sounds familiar? -Yass, you got it, the whole idea is to make it seem like you’re in one of these dystopian eateries of our very present, except you’re not. Where fast food meant animal cruelty, unhealthy ingredients and eco-calamitous packaging, here you have just the opposite: 100% plant based, home made delights in Bio-degradable or recycled packaging! The poster and the color schemes are straight up from 1982, or Stranger Things, depending on your generation, and the trays will remind you of your body surfing days. The nuggets are the bomb, the Big Zac is way bigger and grander than it’s barbaric ancestor, the iconic fries are a delight to share. If you need to convince someone with a fast food disorder to go Vegan, Power Plant will best its meaty competition at every turn. If like me, you’ve been a vegan for a long time and don’t look back on you carnivorous days with any kind of nostalgia, just go for good food, decent price, prime location on PCH, and crowds of customers of all kinds and style. Most definitely the perfect spot to fill up with good energy and vibes if your cold from a long session in the ocean! A+ in all weathers and tides!
