This outdoor market is so great. Highly recommend. Cesar was really good/different. Hummus a bit too smoky for us.

Falafel nachos! Need I say more? - Edit
Nachos but Mediterranean style. Seriously so clever and delicious. I went on a Wednesday evening which I learned is when the North End does their farmers market. So Plant Joy is basically sitting right in the midst of this cute little farmers market and all the well maintained outdoor seating and lights made it such a fun atmosphere and place to sit and eat some falafel nachos. Highly recommend.
Read moreCame back a second time over a year later and they did not disappoint. Staff were so friendly and the heat lamps over the outdoor tables were clutch.

The food was fantastic and the staff was so friendly. This is a very cool little place with lots of variety including desserts. I had the falafel tower and it was so filling. I couldn’t finish half’s and that wasn’t even the share size! And lemme tell ya, this girl can eat. 🤣 for sure check it out!!

All vegan restaurant with a good variety of menu options. I had the Bota Bowl, which came with tabouli, falafel, beet slaw, and a tahini dressing.

Look the atmosphere - Edit
I always wanted to go and finally went when I tell you I just love the atmosphere. I didn’t know that it was outside seating only but it didn’t matter since there are other places out there. I went for a sandwich and got that plus spinach dip. I got the Sea Side (I believe) it was good but a little salty and my croissant was left a little too long. But overall it was all good. The spinach dip was awesome. I think this is a great lunch spot for a date or friends. It’s something for everyone

Great Food, Great Atmosphere - Edit
We ordered the Superfood Tabbouleh, Grilled Greens Sandwich and the Falafel Tower. The sandwich was a treat! I would definitely order it again. The Tabbouleh was a small serving, but flavorful and not loaded with oil. The falafel tower was delicious. We went on a Wednesday evening and there was live music and a market. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable.

We were thrilled to find this little vegan gem. The entire menu looked delicious. I got the Fajita Tower entree and the Pickle Plate appetizer. My partner got the Nice Caesar salad. Both were wonderful. The North Campus area in which the restaurant resides is fun with a great vibe.

Best brunch ever. - Edit
Came here for Sunday brunch based off seeing another review here. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while!!! Got the pancakes which today’s special had peanut butter, banana, and chocolate chips 🤤 and an insanely delicious Yam, egg, and Brie croissant. Can’t recommend this brunch enough, go out of your way to eat this asap.

The shipping container/food truck/industrial park that is Camp North End is worth visiting for many reasons. For me, it was Plant Joy and street art.

First time there and was very happy with my meal. Order food at window and eat outside. About 5 other restaurants (non vegan) in same outdoor area for people to choose from. Will definitely be back!

Wow. So many delicious options. Veggie heavy - Edit
I love the comforting veggie delights. Falafel tower and grilled greens sandwich were amazing. Snagged a fruit tart and a croissant for dessert and they were good too. Will be back to try more. Shitake skewer is a nice add-on.

Delicious spot, great for omni friends - Edit
The menu is chock full of delicious offerings for vegans to drool over. I had the quiche of the day which was a HUGE slice with a side salad. And the counter is in an open-air spot along with some other omnivore options so your non-vegan friends don’t have to complain about eating vegetables. I’m in town for work and I’m hoping to get back to try some of the other menu items!
Read moreEdit: went back for a second day! This time I had the yam and cheese sandwich with a side of quinoa pepita pilaf. Absolutely delicious!
The prices were pretty typical for vegan restaurants i.e. not cheap but not out-of-this-world expensive.

So Good - Edit
We had a delicious lunch at Plant Joy today. I knew I would be ordering the Grilled Greens sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was such a rich luscious sandwich on toasty grilled bread. My daughter had the Mershroom Croissant and said it was very good. My 2 year old grandson enjoyed his kids grilled cheese. We all shared a Falafel Tower. It was a mountain of crisp pita, hummus, chickpeas, falafel patties and a bunch of other good stuff. The big flavors were so satisfying. We each got a takeout of the daily quiche. It looks amazing. I wanted to try everything on the menu but reminded myself that I can go back. This was my first visit to Camp North End. The food court area offered pleasant seating with overhead heaters to keep us warm. At the time of this review there are three other food vendors in addition to Plant Joy. The variety offers something for everyone. I highly recommend a visit to Plant Joy at Camp North End.

Located in Camp North End, you’ll find amazing vegan items from the folks that brought Nourish to Charlotte. Can’t wait to keep trying menu items though finding vegan quiche makes it hard for me to get anything else.
