Serves meat, vegan options available. Take away pizza parlor offering vegan pizza and sandwiches with vegan cheese, mopur (a kind of seitan), and veggies. Sandwiches are also made with whole wheat. If the vegan pizza is not on display, you can expressly ask for it and kitcen will make it. Sandwiches are made in the morning, so it is easier to find a larger choice at lunchtime rather than at dinnertime. Take-out only. Open Mon-Sun 11:30-22:00.

cool veg-option pizza shop - Edit
It's tough to guess that this little pizza counter in the middle of Venice has vegan pizza - but they do! I got a coconut and rice (half and half) cheese pizza and enjoyed it a lot. It comes relatively quickly and you can take it away. I was happy that the cheese was sort of healthy and not made of unstable vegetable oils and strange fillers and ingredients.

Best vegan pizza and sandwiches - Edit
Third time in Venice, third time at L'Angelo and I've never been disappointed.
Read morePizzas are amazing. You can choose one of the several vegan options or ask for your favourite ingredients.
If you go there for lunch, you can also find a wide variety of well filled vegan sandwiches with fresh, high quality ingredients.
I'm sorry I can't rate it 5 stars, but if you're in Venice don't miss it!
Plus: It's close to Accademia and Rialto, so very easy to reach. And prices are fair.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, High quality

Amazing! - Edit
Pizzeria L'Angelo has a clear vegan section on the menu and has clearly marked vegan focaccias/sandwiches on the counter. It was all so delicious and the pizza man had a go vegan t-shirt on yay!

Loved it! - Edit
I'm such a fussy eater as well as vegan so was so excited when I seen that I could get vegan cheese. I don't like anything else on my pizza so only got tomato sauce and cheese and was so happy. Food was lovely and a good price too. Will definitely be going back!

Unexpected Gem - Edit
Walking through Venice, literally having such a hard time finding food that was more than just a Marinara Pizza and about to give up when we stumbled upon this small take away pizza place. They have a small menu crowded with options, so it's a little hard to read but there are several vegan choices with unique and filling ingredients including seitan, falafel, rice and corn cheeses etc. They will hook you up, I got an entire pizza for around 7 Euros (a great deal in Venice) and they loaded it. They also had other vegan options such as falafel wraps for 3 Euros.
Read moreAlso, note that they are certified no cross contamination, there is a certificate on display near the doorway, and they were also a member of a few Italian vegan/vegetarian-friendly associations.

Finging Vegan Cheese on Pizza is great, shame its not better - Edit
we were so pleased to discover a pizza takeway with vegan cheese on its pizzas and even though the pizza is made fresh to order its just average pizza that you'd find in any European city.
Read more7.50 euros gets you a decent 12" pizza so that's good.
maybe our standard is too high after trying the greatest pizza on the planet in Rome but it could have been better.
Pros: vegan cheese!!!
Cons: average topping and bread flavur

good selection of vegan options - Edit
Rude lady who works here she'll probably blank you and come back when you're still stood waiting however they have plenty of choices and it's one of the only it seems in Venice apart from going across the harbour to bio sound system which is a must for food!

Perfect Vegan Pizza Option - Edit
Since there aren't many completely vegan restaurant options in Venice, this pizzeria is a great find.
Read moreIt is mostly meat-based but there are five vegan pizza options. The vegan pizzas are made with whole wheat crusts.
Some people have complained about the vegan cheese but I found it to be very creamy and went very well with the rest of the pizza. I think we tried the Sirio and Vega pizzas. It's great to have a cheese option instead of marinara pizzas all the time.
The staff was friendly and helpful. It is just for take-away but there are plenty of places to eat, nearby, such as Campo Sant'Anzolo, a large piazza just down the street.
I would definitely go back here... several times.
Pros: Pizzas with Cheese!, Quite Central

GREAT - Edit
Vegan cheese was really good! Choice of 4 different vegan pizzas with vegan cheese and a selection of 5/6 vegan wraps and sandwiches. Also serves meat for non vegan friends/family. Very cheap too!!

tasty pizza, several vegan options - Edit
they have four vegan pizza options, with a good price/value ratio. (7, 50 for a standard sized pizza, 15 for a family size)
Read moreit was clear that they used fresh ingredients and the taste was really nice. however, whatever they used instead of the cheese made everything rather liquid so eating by hand (it is a take away place, be aware of it) was quite difficult.
they also offered four vegan sandwiches (3, 50) with different fillings (lupine, ricetta, ...)
I'd recommend the place, but as said, it's a take away place, not a restaurant as such.
Pros: several vegan options, good taste , nice service and fair price
Cons: take away

Lovely pizza. Staff very knowledgable about veganism with a choice of a few pizzas. Reasonable price, 1 standard sized pizza €7.50. Great to see vegan cheese and meats available in a takeaway!

Disappointing - Edit
I was so excited to go here, but the people working there were not very friendly and I did not like the pizza. The vegan cheese looked like very runny juice poured over my pizza. Such a shame :(

Delicious sandwiches and pizza! - Edit
Being Venice, it's not the easiest to find - use a map, but once you do it's completely worth it. I had the tastiest vegan cheese, spinach and veg sandwich, for just three euros. The pizzas were also incredible and very affordable for the size. Nice and efficient staff.

Excellent, hot pizza served by the slice, great for a takeaway lunch to eat in the adjacent square. Also did a range of vegan sandwiches. Tiny takeaway, easy to miss but worth finding out. Staff were fully aware of what was vegan and what wasn't

I wasn't a fan - Edit
I didn't realise "normale" meant an entire pizza- there's only one of me, it was way too much! Would have preferred one slice but it wasn't obvious that they had vegan pizza by the slice. But put off by the massive donor kebab turning on a spit behind the counter but it is a kebab shop after all.
Read moreThe pizza was ok. I didn't really like the vegan mozzarella, it was really mushy. I had pizza with tomato, spinach, vegan mozzarella, olives & sundried tomatoes. I think it was a poor choice tbh maybe the other flavours would have been nicer. I ate it sitting in the nearby square where there was a crazy drunk man shouting and singing. Not my best Venice dining experience.
Pros: easy to find, lots of choice
Cons: meaty kebab shop

small but crowdy!! no store-name outside but we found it easily. They have posters from "le routard" (famous french guide book, as lonelyplanet) everywhere, that's a good sign..! A lot of choice for veggie/vegan very well indicated. Busy but friendly staff, and the food was really good and tasty!
