Just two vegan option

There was just one cake and one croissant available. They don’t have more this vegan shelf. There is also some plant based milk for coffee

Pros: Fair price

Cons: Just two vegan option

Ok, not great. Expensive too

Only 3 vegan items available. Fruit salad, vegan cake and meatless meatball hot wrap. I had the wrap and a mandarin and lychee juice. Wrap was ok, juice was nice. But for $15AUD it was quite pricey.

Pros: Juice, Stervice was ok

Cons: Average wrap, Pricey

Good option for quick lunch/snack

Lot of vegetarian and vegan option. Go to place for quick lunch. Have some good lunch/ breakfast sets. I really like their blue yogurt, cheese-mushroom hot sandwich and pumpkin soup.

Pros: Quick grab and go options , Lot of healthy options

Cons: Do not like their coffee

Only option

Don’t expect to be spoilt for choice at Hong Kong Airport for vegan options. Was grateful for the limited options at Pret which can tide you over. A little expensive but to be expected for Pret and airport food.

Clearly labeled Vegan Options

Limited vegan options but I was just glad that they were all clearly labelled and affordable for Hong Kong standards.

We had:

2. Roasted Sweet Potato & Smashed Beet HKD42
A colourful salad box of roasted sweet potato, smashed beetroot hummus, avocado and broccolini on a bed of salad leaves. Finished with a mix of soya beans, pomegranate seeds and a pot of Ancho Chilli Dressing.

Better than nothing

They have a few smoothies and juices. A vegan chia pudding and oats. The sandwiches have all egg..
Better options at Root98 on the other end of the arrivals hall. They have fresh juices, nice vegan sandwich and salads! Crystal Jade also had vegan chinese food.

Pros: Poor options

Light on the go snack

I’ve been to Pret many times as it’s accessible and great for on the go. The sweet potato and beet hummus salad is the one I tend to go for but the portion is way too small considering it was $42. It is mainly filled with lettuce leaves, with two slices of avocado and a few pieces of edamame and pomegranate seeds here and there. It tastes good and fresh but I’ve just had this so many times as they lack a range of vegan options. Pret needs to widen their vegan selection as they really only have one sandwich option and one salad option at most locations (although they do offer a vegan overnight oats pot and chia seed pudding, just not my thing).

Pros: Convenient, clear vegan labels

Cons: Expensive, small portion, limited vegan selection
