Serves meat, vegan options available. Pizza restaurant with a small vegan menu that includes starter, pizza and pasta. NOTE: Oct 2021 reported limited vegan options - please send updates.
Lots of outside seating under canopies beside the main square. Good heaters and blankets, nice organic wine and a few vegan options on the menu. Doesn't seem to be any vegan pizza unfortunately! We have ordered the wedgies 👍
Whilst not necessarily serving best pizzas in town this long established popular place on the main square is open late and provides exactly what is required in traditional surroundings. Perfect for getting together with fussy friends or family who would not appreciate being taken to a vegan place. Sometimes compromise is necessary. Food is great value, even though you are right on a major tourist hot spot. They still don’t have vegan cheese which was also the case on my last visit in 2016.
While not fully vegan, I am vegetarian and dairy free. This restaurant had a small few vegan options, which all looked great!it was our first meal out and it was SO central- on the market square!
I had the pasta with sundried tomatoes and mushrooms and it was lovely ! It was creamy and the portion was so generous. The online menu lists a vegan dessert but when i asked about it, i was told it was only gluten free so beware of that!
All in all, fab pasta and price !
Staff very friendly, service good, food ok. - Edit
Couple of vegan options. No vegan cheese on the pizza so I opted for the pasta which was whole-wheat & served with a cashew cream sauce, mushrooms & spinach. I would often make this myself at home so was happy to see it on a menu. I do make it far better myself though and maybe that’s not something you want to say about a restaurant dish. I was glad of the vegan option however since I was dining out with meat eaters. I wouldn’t return but I could recommend for a once off.

No vegan alternatives. - Edit
Avoid. The staff was adamant: even the bread is created with butter and milk. I repeat: There is no vegan option here.

No vegan cheese - Edit
We ate here quite late after arriving at our hotel about 7pm. As reported previously, there are no longer any vegan options on the menu.
Read moreI had a veggie pizza with no cheese. The pizza was nice, but it is a shame there are no specific options.
