Great way to cool down on a hot day - Edit
Decided to get a ginger ale to start to cool down. Then got a Curry with soybean meat cutlet with a salad. The salad came first. I loved the dressing and was a nice starter.
Read moreThen the curry came in. I really liked the flavors. The soybean meat was nice and crispy on the outside but a little chewy than I thought. It was okay. The curry I expected to be spicy but I didn’t taste any. Was a little sad about that.
Then I had a chocolate galette. I was loving it. Nice and cold to help combat the heat.
Pros: Tons of vegan options, Desserts as well
Cons: Expected a little spice from the curry

Great takoyaki! - Edit
First vegan restaurant I'm going to in Osaka-and Japan! Went there with my best friend who's a non-vegan and moved here a year ago, she loved it and said she wanted to come back!
Read moreWe had takoyaki, gyozas and some rice curry. I liked the rice less but I don't love rice or curry so that's really just my preference.
We also loved our drinks!
I had a gin, ginger ale, lemon made with japanese gin that was great, and my friend had a sugary alcohol free cocktail that she really loved!
Pros: Very tasty takoyaki , Free WiFi for customers , Nice staff
Cons: Orders via qr code, Toilets are a far walk away from the restaurant

Delicious - Edit
Delicious food in a great place with nice staff. We heard they said to the customers that it's fully vegan. It's so nice to find such place with some vegan traditional Japanese food.

Super location for vegan restaurant - Edit
Great location in Dotonbori!
Read moreWe were seated quickly; menus are on the table but you order via QR-Code.
We got the lunch menu: yakisoba (with chicken) plus rice balls (one wrapped with seaweed; one cover is flower sea salt) plus miso soup.
The noodles were great; the salty rice ball was interesting but not bad. The miso soup wasn’t our favorite, not used to the veggies in it. :)
We also got the vegan takoyaki balls with mayonnaise. Was nice to try something new, but as we don’t know the original octopus version, it was just another dough ball for us.
Furthermore we tried the “vinegar drinks”. (We only read that name after we ordered otherwise we might have been more hesitant.) they ended up being pretty tasty Sodas. One mango flavored (Thailand) and one Tricolor one (France) with different berries.
It was so good, we wanted to come back to get some takeout. But unfortunately they don’t to that, not even for just drinks or shaved ice😒
Cons: No takeout

Great Osakan Cuisine - Edit
Really great Osakan cuisine! One of the troubles of being vegan in Japan is the lack of options and as lovely as some of the other vegan restaurants we tried were, they had lots of burgers and not as much “traditional” cuisine. Having just had a tour guide tell us about all this traditional Osakan food that we couldn’t eat, we found out that pretty much all of it was served here! Can’t speak highly enough of it, so nice to not have to miss out on any of the culinary culture just because we’re vegan! Also has really friendly staff who speak great English and an easy to use online order/menu system in English!

We went here as it was a perfect location for where we were. The food we had was great and the location allowed us to feel in the main hussle and bustle when usually vegan places are found out of the way.

Not nut allergy friendly - Edit
The food looked delicious and we ordered drinks here. For others who have a nut allergy, staff advised that all food items contain nut products. Lovely staff team who were apologetic about this.

Solid vegan option - Edit
The vegan takoyaki was alright, the truffle salt variant was very tasty. The gyoza was very tasty as well. A very solid option is the cutlet bowl. Two very tasty and crispy vegan cutlets on top of a well flavoured bed of rice with some greens. Good meal to have after a long day. Staff is very friendly and there should always be enough space.

Okay option in Dotonbori - Edit
Decent enough vegan options, and not bad variety either. It's the vegan takoyaki that's the only must-have on the menu, really. Portion sizes seem a bit small given price point (relative to the non-vegan versions of similar items at other establishments nearby).

Something Osaka really needed! - Edit
This place targets mainly tourists for sure, and therefore is a bit pricey, but I'm happy that more people have the option available to try vegan Osaka cuisine in the heart of the city.
Read moreAll the dishes we tried were great, especially the Katsudon made me happy. The avocado in our salad was not quite ripe but staff was friendly and replaced it when we told them.
