It's been a few years since we visited Pittaria, but we still talk about the falafel! The falafel at Pittaria is out of this world. It comes with a variety of homemade sauces, pickles and salads and honestly I have never had anything better.

This may be the best falafel I've ever had - the chutney gives it the extra touch. While they only declare the falafel und hummus pita vegan on site, according to they internet menu you can also get betenjan und sabanch in a vegan version.

Pittaria is one of those places where when you enter, you just feel welcomed and at home. There is always a wonderful feeling of harmony in the Pittaria.

The Pittaria founded 1997 is an important institution in Solothurn. Specially for vegetarians and vegans. We offer 9 Specialties that we serve in Pitta Bread or on Dishes with Salad or Rice. All Specialties are homemade and originally comes from the Middle East. 3 vegetarian : Hallumi: Fried Cheese Sabanech: Spinach with Cheese, Pine nuts. Betenjan: Eggplant, Potatoes Sweet Potatoes, Paprika, Tomatoes and Cheese. 2 vegans: Falafel (Master piece), Hummus. Betenjan and Sabanech could be made with Falafel instead of Cheese. That means that vegans has 4 Variations to be satisfied. All our Sauce are vegan. 1 Tahini: Sesame Paste with lemon juice. 2 Salat Turki: Relish with Tomatoes Onion, Paprika and Parsley. 3 Chutney: Apple, Apricots, Ginger, Garlic, Paprika. 4 Sambal: Chili.

Nicest vegetarian fast food in town - Edit
As soon as you enter the small restaurand you are usually welcomed by the friendly and charming owner. There are actually only two vegetarian dishes on the menu, but they are amazing in quality and quantity.
