Best Falafels ever! - Edit
This place is fantastic and their falafels are truly some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. The vegetables are fresh and all pita toppings are totally vegan. You can also get a falafel platter vs. a wrap, but their pita bread is delicious so I would highly recommend getting a side of bread if you’re getting the plate. 10/10!

Best Meal in Fairbanks - Edit
Lunch here was the best meal I've had in Fairbanks in a long time, and the best falafel sandwich I've had anywhere. Everything is vegan so I didn't have to worry about dairy in the sauces. The half sandwich was very filling, so I would only get the full if I was sharing with someone. The serving included a generous portion of falafel so it felt like there was falafel in almost every bite. The shredded veggie mix was what put it over the top for me! It wasn't just lettuce but included other veggies shredded together. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the large beverage selection was great. Even though the place was busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Maybe the best falafel I've ever had - Edit
Wow, I think that was probably the best falafel I have ever consumed. The harif sauce really tied everything together and the spicy version added just the right amount of flavor for me. I also ordered a Turkish coffee, which I have never had before but is also quite delicious.

Best Place For Food In Fairbanks - Edit
This place had more customers (in a good way) than any other business I visited here (food or not) in Fairbanks! Long like of customers, but they are really well staffed and fast! Highly recommend! Everything is vegan there they said except their scrambled chicken eggs.

LIGHTYEARS ahead of other vegan options in town... - Edit
I've eaten countless falafels in my near two-decades as a vegan all over the place (okay, admittedly, not in the actual Middle East, but at legit places all over NYC, Boston & Europe...and SE Asia!) and even if I didn't throw in the "in Alaska" element, Pita Place rocks.
Read moreExcellent toppings, sauces, ingredients, bread, flavor, cost, vegan-osity...La Croix-bonus...it's all good! It's great!!!! I could go for a tad more spice in the balls, but that is not a complaint, just a mild thought in passing.
I only wish it was open more, but, I'm selfish.
Pros: awesome, price, seating
Cons: hours limited

The best falafel - Edit
We always stop here when we’re in Fairbanks, even long before going vegan. I was ecstatic to learn I can still enjoy pitas here and they’re open year-round.

Visiting Fairbanks in October 2018. This place is open all winter. The pitas are amazing, been back several times for more. They also have a selection of Alaskan craft beers and cane sure drinks.

Fantastic Falafels - Edit
Pita Place is without a doubt, the best, consistently delicious option for vegetarian food in Fairbanks. Everything that is served there is fresh and vegetarian! When possible, they use fresh, organic veggies purchased that day at the farmers market. Delicious, freshly made pitas, fantastic falafel, and the best spicy harif sauce I've ever had. Dropping in for a "full falafel with everything" has become a hugely popular and valued summer tradition with Fairbanksians, especially combined with a trip to the Saturday Farmers Market! Pita Place is only open in the summer between Wednesday and Saturday.
